Love It!

The art might throw some off but it'll grow on you. I love each and everyone of the stories. The mangaka interwove into each stories details that are very Japanese and reminded me why I have fallen in love with everything Japanese, of how the old is interwoven with the new. After reading the last chapter one might want to re-read the first two chapters to cheer oneself up...

Really good

This is a collection of short stories, and they're all very nice. Every department is carefully invested and well thought out, from the characters, the plots, the developments. There's enough depth given but not too overwhelming at that, which creates a pleasant reading mood without being too heart-wrenching. I do admit some stories are better than others, but because the difference is not vast it felt greatly balanced out. I particularly really like the mangaka's interpretation of the title, 'Sairuiu' - it was explained and illustrated very nicely in the 2nd chapter. That's probably also my favourite story of the book.

....especially when reading Laundream. Fuck that hurts.
This is a collection os short stories. They had simple premises, but really, in here less is more. Don't be put off with the drawing style, it will be better, but even so the simplicity of the art is the part of what is nice and feel'y about this manga. Even though all of these are short stories but each of the character is so well thought of and it won't fail to make you empathize with them.

Gentle and heart warming stories

Art is sketchy but can easily get used to. It turned out to be pretty nice to looked at and eventually, loved the strokes. Overall consisted of gentle and heart warming stories. Personal favorite is the couple from story Closing Day. Another that stands out for me is To Hate Without Trying.
