simply putting it this is one of the most amazing shoujos i ever read. I don't know why but i started to doubt friendship in manga b/c almost in every shoujo the heroines friends must turn against her bitch her ...etc
and another weird thing i noticed is that in a lot of mangas once the two friends are separated each one in different class they are not that much of a friends anymore and each one find another friends in their class.
but this manga restored it all, the amazing power of friendship, leaves you with this happy feeling
even though i've been blessed with amazing friends during my life, i wish that someday i have a friendship like that

I loved the relationship between the two friends. Normally my focus in reading is the romance but in this story it took the back seat even in my mind. If you are looking for a romance then this is not for you.
The art was also something to enjoy about this. Not flashy and very simple. That also applies to the story. No real angst and a very light and feel good story. The focus on the story is the relationships between the characters. I fell in love with the people and their devotion to each other.
I know I am rambling but I want to emphasize that even though not a lot happens in this manga it is a beautiful feel good story that I completely recommend.

Beautiful, delicate water colours, a unique idea, and interesting characterization didn't save this story: it grew progressively duller and ultimately ended with only some--definitely not enough--resolution.

Update. Finished it after noticing it in my list. Turns out the extra story had nothing to do with the main story. After re-reading it, I realised I would have liked it to go longer and see the women and the men them develop and have a more normal relationship (with their best friend and the opposite sex).

Not bad but still feels incomplete.

Been over 100 days since the release of chapter 3 and according to etc only the extra story is remaining.

It's lovely story that just ends too suddenly at chapter 3. Eiko is very likable character, the type of girl whom others would dot over. Moe is more of a strange character, but also lovable due to the affection she shows towards Eiko.

Awesome manga. So realistic, deep, fresh, free of cliches. I loved it and couldn't tell what will happen next. Wasn't bored at all. The art is cool too.

I think manga like this can make the reader a better person. It touches some very important subjects. It's great how the POV switches, we get to see how judgemental and wrong people can be in how they read others. All four main characters are good people but some of their traits can make them seem otherwise - for those who don't bother to look deeper. Each of them learns an important lesson, I think. Readers do too (at least I did )

this is the sort of shoujo I wish I'd see more often these days... A rare gem. The mangaka does it again (I like her other stuff too but this is still an impressive one). The only thing is I wish it'd have just one more chapter... Moe's story arc doesn't feel complete. That's probably just me though - I like Moe a lot and I wish she could change her mind about guys! Anyway, very cute, and makes me want a best friend

i love all the themes this manga deals with, and all with just a simple and sweet story about friendship. all of the characters feel alienated, alone and rejected by their peers for one reason or another, but find solace in one person who accepts them, who happen to be their complete opposite. through this person they learn to accept their own flaws and accept the flaws of others as well. perhaps their one mistake is being too fiercely loyal to their own friends, but even then they also learn that the bond must simply evolve and not be broken.

also the feeling of deep and pure LOVE just permeates throughout the whole story. the characters each love their friends deeply and truly in a way that makes me a bit envious. were it any other story with a different theme i could easily see a GL or BL story develop, but this story is about friendship. really nicely done and kudos to the author. art is really great as well.

I liked the premise from the start. Eiko and Moe are both immensely likeable, as well as the male leads. The art is different from the standard shoujo pictures. The lines are fluid and whimsical, a perfect match with the story. The colour pages are a great bonus. The plot is simple, short and sweet. It never delves into needless cliches and it always stays true to its main point.

It's like ice cream, and baby elephants.

I'm envious of a very trustful and great friendship they both have..the characters were pretty great and overall was so good..I loved to read this..just one word to describe this all BEAUTIFUL..

This is amazingly executed, unique, and incredibly cute! The drawing style is reminiscent of Sahara Mizu with clean lines and flowing movements, and the plot is great with one pair's relationship tying into another's. Kudos to etc as well for doing such a great job (especially on translations!) Everything is amazing
