Better mangas with same plot out there....

Okay, this manga has a creepy title and a slow start.
I don't find the characters especially interesting and I can't get warm with the plot either.
This has an awkward mix of pseudo comedy and serious topics that I don't really enjoy.
We jump right into the story, where the protagonists already know each other and everything moves very fast. The storytelling is missing something and it feels rather rushed, where they go from "we kind of just meet for paid sex every now and then" to a committed relationship outta nowhere.
Furthermore, the art style really isn't for me. The characters look plain unattractive! It's unappealing and looks incredibly 80s. The people are cross-eyed, I swear!! Trying to convey emotion, the art fails, making you laugh instead....
As long as their faces aren't showing, the sex scenes look alright though, lol!
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I didn't find the plot any special and especially when Kazuki randomly shows up in America, working at the diner closer to the guy's office... it's all incredibly boring and cliche!

So all in all, I wouldn't read this again. If you do not mind many attempts at comedic scenes, yelling, "funny faces" and such mixing wildly with serious topics like infidelity, prostitution, ect, plus a not-sexy art style then go ahead! But basically, if you want comedy then there's much better choices out there and if you want realistic, there's also much much better ones...

It´s rare to me to find myself disliking a yaoi story but this time this is the case. The art is poor and the story is very confused. I tried to read another story for this same mangaka to see if it was an isolated case but I got the same result: poor art and messed story to the point that I got lost. I definitely not recommend.

Different Style : A Fresh Change

I'll Be Watching You was an excellent piece that had a 'sleeper' strong uke. I didn't realize his strength until I thought about the story and reread. The seme was interesting. The life of the characters seemed to lean more towards realistic in my mind than the fantasy world of BL.
Because I'll Be There was my favourite story of the three. Karino had such an interesting personality. Yagi needed a little work as far as making me understand his motivations and feelings, but he was a likeable character. This managka is amazing at showing the depth of emotion in little things like shaking hands or an outstreched hand.
End of a Dream had a powerful scene that said a lot with no words. Her style of art is very simple and large but it works for her stories. I think that there needed to be something more to this story to pull me in further and affect me deeper though. Maybe a little more back story on the two characters or a little more interaction. If one looks at the story as just being invited in to watch the climax of their life alterilng moment in time it's acceptable. I believe that if I read more about the emotions that went into Chris' behaviour, I would have felt more and probably thought more about this story.

I really liked these stories. very realistic and yet sweet. I am checking other stories of this mangaka out since I believe she is one of good writers out there, one of those who have a sharp eye for seeing details that others ignore. she is a true talent indeed.

I can only laugh when i think back at this one because it was a fun yet quite moving stories. Thankfully not overly dramatic and the art was good. It was all about older seme and younger uke so cute.

I had such high hopes after reading the amazing Negai Kanae Tamae but this title disappointed me. When it comes to romantic fiction there is a thin line between "realistic" and "boring" and I'm afraid this one crossed it. It was boring. Without a great story to keep me distracted, I found myself being more critical of the artwork. Ok, I'm not an artist, but is it that difficult to draw eyes that don't look cross eyed? Isn't it an easy thing to fix? I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this mangaka but this one is a miss for me.

this mangaka is definitely one to watch. i wish more of her works would be scanlated, but i think her art limits her appeal. the art isn't bad, mind, but it is very spare, and lacks the pretty that makes so much yaoi attractive to us fans (aside from the mansex, *snicker*). but her stories are so worthwhile, so real, her powers of observation so keen, and the way she uses the spareness of her art to make the tiniest of those observations stand out... it's just excellent.
