reiichi never actually had any sort of significant character development. he had moments where he almost gave you hope that he had changed but then it was back to the beginning. it would have been really great to see this fleshed out a lot more, could've even become a series as well, but everything was extremely rushed.

really disappointed in this one. my rating is only at a 3 because i like her art style but other than that... the story was flat and lacked any sort of emotion that wasn't fukurou doubting and feeling defeated. it's a shame, to be honest.

I really feel bad for fukurou-kun because he ended up with that playboy. And I think Shiratori needs to prove his self more if he only loves fukurou-kun. If only Fukurou-kun act more toucher maybe he really get Shiratori.

But still I love Yamomoto Kotetsuko sensei works. I want more of them. If only there is a sequel.

Good... but

The manga seemed good, but it felt like the main issue in their relationship was not resolved, or at least I felt that way. I would have been happy with a small gesture of preference for Fukurou, but that never came clearly, just words that by previous example didn't have any weight. I wish that the mangaka had gone a little further in stablishing Reiichi's feelings.

Beyond that, the feelings of hopelessness shown by Fukurou are my cup of tea, and definitely touch my heart strings. But it may be annoying to other people who wish to see a more proactive or self-loving character.

Because of what I first said I can't give it a 10, because due to the lack of closure on that issue, I can't fully enjoy the feelings of Fukurou, because I feel they aren't overcome. It's like enjoying the ride but not being able to reach the best part, I felt kind of frustrated.

P.S.: On further rethinking of the story I don't feel so bad about it, but that is after a while, cause just after reading it, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
