It's Rumi world, we just live in it

This one has exactly two good things going for it (breakout side character Rumi and the heroine relationship with her and two love rivals whom later become friends with Anna), and none of those has anything to do with either the romance aspect of the story or the heroine's object of desire (a bland, generic nuisance the own mangaka seems bored by, if one goes by his poor, undistinctive design).

I would go so far as to say the romance subplot (it certainly comes across that way, overshadowed by Rumi's own emotional arc) is a deterrent to what could have been otherwise a fairly unique take on rejection, friendship and the evolvement of it. And, honestly, given how few interactions Anna and Reiji get and how anti-climatic the resolution is, I can't help but wonder if the author was indeed going for a very different ending but was convinced by her editors to end it in a more conventional way.

Oh, what could have been...

I initially thought this manga was gonna royally piss me off but it had a really good twist! I fell in love with rumi and the little squad they formed with the sisters :3 Though i would not personally date a cousin, i could really relate to the MC's pain & feelings of unreq love. Would've been a 10 if it weren't for reiji's bum self. Btw the ending did kinda seem a tad farfetched wat w reiji being a tool for most of the story 'n all..

...I know of that actually looks down on cousin incest. In other mangas, it they seem to not bat an eye, when they're cousins, but this one, especially being shoujo, surprised me. I did find the male lead uninteresting as well- I highly prefer a GL ending instead. The bland guy did hinder my overall enjoyment for this manga, but it still is readable when you are bored.

...if he weren't that cold towards her.
I found it hard to believe the ending because of Reiji's coldness, or should I say lack of character?
I liked the unexpected twist regarding Rumi-chan (though after sooo many years of reading manga I could kinda sense that).
Overall it was a nice light read. I do recommend it ^^

Rumi was just so supporting and lovable; I wish the heroine ended with her instead. I never read LGTB manga but I would've been fine with this being straight out shoujo ai. Aside from the really nice relationship the girls shared, the story was only filled with typical mean girls and cliches. The male love interest seriously lacked personality he was typical as fuck.

I know Rumi is supposed to be a strong character but it's a bit unrealistic that she can be so supporting and understanding. I also hate her disappearance in the last chapter. Where was she?

i liked it! but not tooo much. it didn't give this excited feeling i always hope for when i start to read a new manga. well, wasn't expecting much from it anyway, since it was only 4 chapter long.
other than that. i like the characters smile)
i dont really care much about how rumi's lesbian. i loved her character anyway. i kinda look up to her. yea, i'm silly. she kinda reminds me of myself. but not as strong as her. so i really like her.
i really like anna, too, she's really innocent and nice.
reiji was [hot] embarrassed. not as hot as sakisaka's strobe edge's main guy character, but yea. he was nice too biggrin

Better than average one volume shoujo manga which featured characters that had some realism to their feelings and emotions. All the cliches were present: a bishounen lead loved and adored by all who set sights on him, bullying fangirls, and bittersweet feelings that the main female just can't give up no matter how hard she tries, but what made it somewhat memorable was the inclusion of spunky Rumi, the best friend character. Her personality was great, and the most memorable scenes in the entire manga, in my opinion, all involved her in one way or another. (She had a couple truly great scenes where she yelled at Reiji.)

Still, for all that was good about the manga, the story didn't especially grab me. In large part, I think this was because Rumi was the only character in the manga I truly enjoyed. Reiji was a typical, personality-less bishounen who hides his feelings/only shows his emotions under extreme circumstances, and while Anna had more backbone than most shoujo heroines, you could still easily mix and match her with any other shoujo lead from any other shoujo series. It's not like this mangaka can't create memorable characters (if nothing else, Rumi is proof of that), so I don't know why she'd make her leads so uninteresting. I was honestly somewhat bored by these two and didn't much care one way or another if they ended up together or not. (In fact, I probably would have enjoyed the manga more if they hadn't.) I read the entire manga because it had been fully scanlated when I got a hold of it, but since the story didn't leave much of an impression on me, I suspect if I had been reading it in progress, I wouldn't have made it to the end because I would have forgotten I was reading it.

The manga deserves points for not being Shinjo Mayu or any number of brainless shoujo manga clones, but I can't give it a 10 for that alone. Since I thought it was a middle of the road manga (not bad, but not great), I'm giving it a middle of the road score.

American definitions do not rule the world. Legally, marrying one's first degree cousin is NOT incest in most other countries (even if it is icky). So stop judging everyone by YOUR standards.

I loved it! I really liked it, I think my favorite character was Rumi, because of how she could stand up to people and cuss them out on whim. I'm very short for my age, I pissed someone off once and got beat up for it, so I admire her bravery.
