Emotion Please

It's a psycho story with out emotion.. Art work is beautiful yet expressionless.. Big question mark left in the end..

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
so the sister twin I'd so crazy that even while having a girlfriend And saying she will leave him alone she doesn't! The brother twin is crazy cause he pretends not to care but he is more obsessed with her.. And the kid that wanted revenge.. What was his master plan to the end of his revenge??? Makes no sense in the end..

They're drawn so expressionless it's almost impossible to feel how messed up the story is suppost to look.

I was hesitant to read this manhwa for the longest time because of the theme. I'm glad I read it and I'm particularly satisfied with the conclusion, specifically Se Wa's realization. I like the turn around from the beginning where the readers may think Se-Wa is the obsessive twin with the unhealthy attachment and affection but we learn the truth towards the end. I love the manhwa ended with the story about the boy who is loved by everyone. I felt it tied the story together nicely and concluded appropriately. The decision to cut off the point before Se-Joon was about to say, "I love you," was great. Tragic but disgustingly beautiful.

Wow! Just wow! First of all I would like to take time to appreciate the manhwaga's talent. I mean, to be able to justify incest in such an amazing and non guilty way, is really difficult, but he did it. And maybe this is the only book in which I didn't have anything to complain about in the ending. The ending was perfect! And I didn't cry or feel bad either (even though normally such an ending is bound to torment you for days, if not months). Perfectly justified and satisfying. The story developed well, it had a certain darkness that I love and long for in books, the characters were good, the art, everything. Not a single complaint which is almost impossible since even my favorite manhwa has its flaws and this one doesn't. Glad I read it. I have a special respect for this story. So everyone out there, PLEASE READ!!!

Tone?

I agree with awavingflag that the art was beautiful but inexpressive. What I found dislikable even more was how dark the drawings were, Im not too sure but I think you call it the tone (sorry if Im wrong!)
I guess it was because the manhwa's plot was also dark and that was so the art could match but sometimes it was too much on my eyes. It actually stopped me reacting strongly to the manhwa as the black/darkgrey seemes to repress the manhwa and its feelings. Like everything is detached which makes it harder to connect with the characters. Overall great story of course, just that personally I wish for a slightly lighter tone in some happier areas (were there any...?)

I'm guessing this manga isn't supposed to leave a good impression....

Personally, I found the main pair's relationship to be disturbing, and I really wished for the girl to get along with the other guy instead.

But, my personal opinions aside, this manga features beautiful artwork and an original plot.

The art is beautiful but the story is just... unbelievable. And confusing as well. I don't object to the incest theme but it seems like the plot just bends wherever the author wants it to, regardless of how illogical it is. The art and tragic theme are both typical of Korean romance manhwa, reminding me a bit of Let Dai (Dont get me wrong, I like Let Dai a lot more than this, but I mean they share the same psychologically tragic theme). However, I really like the final chapter, especially the final scene. A nice sum-up for the whole torture.

Yeah, the title pretty much sums it up. I don't know why people are getting so excited about it, it's short and nothing exciting really happens. I used it to kill time when I couldn't get to sleep and only continued after the first few chapters because I couldn't be bothered to look up something better. I mean, sure there's a suicide at the end, and some violence, and
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the girl dies, and he kills himself
but so what? that's nothing special in manga, and I felt that it was trying to be horrific at times but just didn't cut it. But, then again, I'm really not the right guy for this sort of manga-I don't really think of incest as a big deal, so that kind of ruins the "forbidden love" aspect of it, and my standards of horror and violence are far beyond this, as I said earlier, so that ruins that; but most of all, I never really believed in that "true love" crap, so I really feel no compassion, and don't get emotional over the lovey-dovey stuff. To be honest I don't know why I even bothered reading a romance manga... Anyway, I'm tired now, so yeah...

Cynical Twisted Story

So bitter sweet that you wish for more. Words can't express my love for characters and setting the author set up. I really can't judge what a great manhwa it is; but I can for sure say it was really enjoyable and not a single dull moment.

The whole series is filled with high angst and drama but I think that's what allowed me to enjoy is more. Really love this story...

A few interesting situations, but too many flat or emotionless characters while at the same time trying to be a little melodramatic. And yes everyone looks the same except with different haircuts, sigh. The psycho sister is so over the top at times, but everybody just keeps treating her like an injured little kitten and instead pamper her, which is unrealistic especially after...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
she purposely gives the other girl the wrong medications. And oh, isn't it convenient that she is working at that time and handling the prescriptions (roll eyes).
I know there are many people who like this, but I just couldn't get past the first few volumes.
