i didnt get the ending (spoiler) did he sleep with his friend after he slept with Kou? i mean the friend is grabbing his jeans and telling him he was going to teach him to please Kou, and yet when guy sees them lying in bed in just their jeans, he says he "knows" they didnt do anything together. but then why would the friend tell him he was going to "teach" him things if his only purpose was to make Kou jealous? that makes no sense. Kou didnt even bother to ask if anything had happened which is weird.

The lovely art is the best thing about this series. The artist really captures the feel of a rural Japanese town during the summer. I enjoyed all of the side characters as well--for a yaoi female, Angela wasn't half-bad and the main couple's childhood friends were a lot of fun. Unfortunately, fun was something the seme desperately lacked. He spoke very little and never seemed to crack a smile. Despite being one of the leads, he was a rather forgettable character and I never actually grew to care about him at all, which was disappointing compared to how memorable the secondary characters were. I was also disappointed by the events of ch. 4 and the comical way those events were dealt with afterwards. It's yaoi, so of course everything resolved itself happily in the end, but why suddenly throw something like that into what had otherwise been a rather light manga? It messed up the feel a bit. Overall, I wish this manga had been longer because the uke had some interesting issues with his father (that were also tied up with the seme) which really needed more development. It would've also given the magaka a chance to develop the seme's character a bit more as well (which he really needed).

the story is cute and I love the art style, its worth reading!
