Description

I adore this manga. The story is very grey and the plot gets very intricate after the inital introduction of the stage in volume 1. Carno and Ibuki make a great pairing, condemned and sought for being too powerful and just trying to find their own paths. All the while power-play amongst magical organisations stirs the waters. Great plot, the themes are very well presented and the art is fantastic. A good balance between dialogue and action with some great violence but artfully done rather than just seeking to disgust. Every answer to the mysteries that unfold only brings more questions it seems, keep you wanting more. Dark and serious it does have some comic relief moments. All in all it's a great manga, well worth buying.
