I don't think it was meant to be funny so much as it was meant to be a short excerpt for fans of each series. If you like any or all of the series included in these oneshots, then you'll find it an amusing look into the chaos that would happen if any of them were mixed with xxxHOLiC.

1. White - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles & xxxHOLiC.
2. Platinum - X & xxxHOLiC.
3. Pastel - Kobato & xxxHOLiC.
4. Kindai Mahjong - Legal Drug & xxxHOLiC.

They're very, very short, but as said, a couple of pages of crack doesn't hurt. And fans of Legal Drug in particular would probably snap up anything that they could find while they wait for CLAMP to continue the series.
