Wow Kujou really

I know this is shoujo and I don't have any right to say this in terms of being a guy with no experience but here we are with Kujou well into college years and the drama is running high and she has no clue whatsoever about romance or the feelings of herself or other people. Does the loss of her father when she was at a age where she doesn't even remember much really justify this terrible character?

Pls.

It literally took it all for them to break it to her, and she still ... Sorry for the rant.

The main guy's dedication to the girl is admirable and absolutely adorable. I love him. He's not a jerk like all those other shoujo male leads. Unfortunately, his love interest is TOO DENSE--and the poor guy ended up with such a

low self-esteem that he can't even tell that the girl likes him!
. She's freaking adorable and has a great personality--but she. is. so. socially. out of it! I guess that's the point... but she needs to get a bit more of a clue.

I understand her--I have a friend just like her who is A COMPLETE NERD AND KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT LOVE... But come on, give the dude a break! He's been waiting for you for TEN years! xD

I mean, that's all I can really say about it - it's cute. It's a bit more interesting than other shoujo plots, and I think the selling point is how stupid the main boy is...
It's a little better than average, but it can easily keep interest if you like shoujo manga.

Development is somewhat slow.

Quite probably the worst shoujo I have been reading ever (I am sure there is worse but for me personally this manga is just big NO, can't stand it -.-...). I don't mind if it would be bit silly or something as shoujo often can be but found this one just painfully annoying for the most of time, story is also simply some really lame shit. There really isn't anything going for this one, simply unreadable for me.

If you are into dense female leads and possessive friends like Koi Dano Ai Dano, this is the manga for you. You will feel so bad for yanagi as he tries to claw his way from the friendzone. And boy he is deep in there hahahaha love it though because this is my type of story.

Did you think about Kujou's situation?
She grew up without watching films or anime, without reading manga or magazines, without making friends or hanging out with friends; her brain was always busy with household chores, sales off, studying and her mom. Besides, she gave all her mind for the goal: "Being independent soon and helping mom has a better life"
She thought about Yanagi as a nice person and as her best and only friend. Therefore, when she've started having strange feelings toward Yanagi, she frustrated. It makes sense.
If you were in her situation, do you think you'll know what love is? and do you think you will not feel uneasy with an unknown feeling?
Moreover, what's the relation between smart and this problem?

This manga is really cute. Both the main characters are adorable (the male with his blushing and the girl with her denseness). The love rivals are lovely too (I like the guy , but the girl is kind of getting on my nerve, but she hasnt cross that line yet). I like how everyone knew that he is in loved with her except for her (and their constant flirting man... xD though she doesnt know that they r flirting). It just full out cute. This is sweeter than a cupcake....

Really great manga! I'd love to buy it but I guess it doesn't come in Enlgish or anything. Now my problem is that I've read all the released chapters (multiple times actually) and I can't find anything as good as this! Hope more pages will come soon smile

Unique premise but seems to be dragging on

The leads' relationship as rivals and friends spans from primary school until college so it's an interesting premise. A guy and girl who have been associated for a long time platonically is a refreshing take at a shoujo manga. They are presently college students in the story but sometimes behave like high school students especially the guy.

I enjoyed reading through the earlier chapters of the manga because of the character development that resulted from their blossoming relationship. However, despite the progress in their individual personalities, the build-up of the relationship feels rather slow for two college students. I guess the guy's ego and the girl's deadpan personality are to blame.

I've dropped the series. In all fairness to the lead characters, they are easy to love. I just have high expectations for their relationship though. I was really annoyed with the fact that the female lead, Kujou, does not know a thing about love or attraction. For a smart girl like her, I didn't expect her to have "Eh? What is this I'm feeling?" moments several times.

If you want to read a love story like the one in Kimi ni Todoke in a university setting, this one's the best series to follow through.
