I think that this has all it needs to become a great series. I really wouldn't mind if the girl ends up following him after a few years...Lol. I already have a great idea.

The art is divine for shounen.

everything about it was simply amazing! the art was great and the story was interesting. i really liked the characters as well. the story has plenty of potential so i really hope this gets serialized

This release has very good art and introduces some likeable characters. The beginning is similar to a fairytale with a once upon a time technique. The fairy tale is dark and gory, which makes a very good backdrop for the rest of the tale, which sets up a main character, in some ways similar to Rurouni Kenshin and a save the damsel in distress from the "bad guys" framework .

It is not perfect, in fact, I was hoping, after the intro bit for a dark seinen story... but despite the undercurrent don't expect any angst in here. Everything is very positive and shounen style in this oneshot

This appears to be the author's first publication and it demonstrates his skills admirably. I am looking forward to anything Shirasaya might release in the future!
