Description
Takuro is a typical guy with low self-esteem, stuck in a dead-end job. Since he feels he has nothing to live for, he let himself go, becoming fat, miserable, and lonely.
The only shining thing he lives for is the occasional visit to a brothel where his savings will allow him to at least not be completely sexless.
This is when, through a friend, he is introduced to the virtual reality world of "The Unreal". Where, after spending $6000+ on equipment, you can purchase a virtual girlfriend who only thinks of you. Only the girl, Tsukiko, that he purchases, seems to have come with a few defects.... More...

A manga that first caught my eye with its rubbery artwork and heavy pathos. When I started reading it I definitely enjoyed it because of the comedy, but it wasn't until the second volume that I really started looking forward to releases. It actually manages to weave a story that you care about to see what happens; instead of just poking fun at how much of a loser the main character is. In the end it's a highly realistic manga in terms of characters, and I think that might hit too close to home for some people.

Surprising development and a really emotive story. Although the art doesn't welcome to read, its use is too good in the plot. It surpassed from far my expectations.

I wonder how many people are going to look at themselves a little bit after reading this excellent piece of fiction. It really makes you think and question your reality, and that is the mark of good fiction.

lol I agree with ranmaru, the picture totally turned me off, but since it was done by Kotonoha, I gave it a try.
But it was definitely worth it. The main character is very real (almost disgustingly) and it's hard to warm up to him at first, but the premise is hilarious and I have a feeling we may end up feeling for the main character.

I gotta say the picture was a total turn off, but then i saw the release in Kotonoha and downloaded it, guess it turn's out great
