Extremely rushed

This series feels stupidly rushed to me, with large plot events happening every chapter. I'm guessing that the publishers told the mangaka the series was going to get axed, so the mangaka rushed it beyond belief.
So, interesting concept but the execution was too rushed.

The first few chapters are overly fast-paced chuunibyou tropes. I don't even like to use that term, and I wouldn't even use it to describe SAO or Yureka, but it undoubtedly fits here. Every line and facial expression is overdramatic, the fights are just whatever the plot feels like doing.
But ~5 chapters in, it gets theatrical. The protagonist actually embraces his own chuuni side that embarrassed him in the past. And then it starts to seem like every character has their own ultimate hidden ability. Simply put, it gets fun and the pacing improves. Nothing can change that the entire premise of the story was established far too rapidly, but the character dynamic has finally gained a sense of tension. Chapter 7.5 (a flashback side story) is a nice addition that shows how Miu and Hitachi bonded over their awkward love of chuuni video games.
Anyway, leaving aside the weak start, it's a better-than-average manga. Obviously it has plenty of flaws, but if you've read a lot of manga, you should have been able to tell just from the plot description that it would probably have issues with pacing and confusing plot points and unrealistic characterization; there are tons of manga like that, but there are tons of manga.

The plot is original, the power to turn stress into magic, yet the author failed to realize that this premise is very hard to be turned to a great story
first of all, how do you measure stress? is there any measurement unit for stress? then how do you balance power level from this obscure element?
by this logic, the protagonist should be a really negative person, maybe near the point of suicidal, but no he's not, he's just a shallow random character
Even more, before the concept of turning stress into power fully explored, suddenly the protagonist develop the power to heal stress, and after that this "stress" just seems to act like willpower, thus the initial concept is gone
with this plot you expect to see some interesting characters, yet what you got was some shallow characters, random powers, ridiculous development, and the worst of all is you can't relate to any of the events, you can't feel the tension, but at least the art is nice
i have the feeling it will soon to be axed
