I have been recommended this novel by a friend (a fan of YuWo like myself) and fell in love with it after the first chapter.
I do not want to spoil so here goes my review: the story really is intriguing and the rules of the very well made world of Chen Yue very interesting!! You also can`t help but be amused at the hero`s misfortune!! I mean, first he goes in another universe, where there`s magic and a lot of new things (like being reborn every time you die) and weird rules, but to top that up, he is cursed in saying the contrary of what he thinks... ensuing in lots of awkwardly comical scenes.
One of the only minus is that the translation of this fantastic novel is rather slow. 9 and a half volume to go! Good luck Giraffe Corps!
For some readers, the plot could also be seen as rather slow (no real goal for the hero in the chapter translated so far), but I find it necessary; we do need to know what the world of Chen Yue is like, though I`d love to jump into the action.

i haven't laughed this hard with a novel translation since i read unique legend last year (addicting enough i read the rest with google translate).
now whenever i see anything close to 'puhahaha' i start snickering.
this is not a typical reincarnation series so far and i find the differences a refreshing. i've been reading lots of xainxai/reincarnation series and the mc are always so serious and i think its cannon that they're all pretty much jerks, so a mc like poor fan tong is a nice change of pace.
(sadly, i can't read ahead with GT because the full volumes aren't available online).
the translation is really, really slow but its some of the most thorough and well edited translations that i've seen online.
i am really loving this series and can;t wait for the rest!!!!

The current description makes it sound like a generic reincarnation novel but it is far from that. Fan Tong, the protagonist, was cursed by someone that his mouth would say the opposite of what he means randomly. After his death, he is reincarnated in a new world but unfortunately his curse has come through with him! His life in the new world and how he faces challenges with his cursed words is what makes up the story so far.
The translations from Giraffe Corps are pretty good. Very few grammar or language errors which makes for a good reading experience. The group releases bi-monthly and I wish it could be a bit faster.
The world building on the new world Fan Tong is reborn into is pretty good. I find myself interested in all the new facets that are uncovered. The reader learns about the world along with Fan Tong and not just through his eyes which makes for a rich and varied story. I recommend this Novel to anyone interested in realistic world building with a well paced story.
