Ai Nekomori can see the "doors" to people's hearts. He hears the thoughts of everyone around him and has learned that what people think and what they actually say are often very different. Therefore, he doesn't trust anyone and never opens his heart to others. Then he meets the upbeat, tomboy Ritsu Sengoku, who honestly says whatever she's thinking. Can she open Nekomori's heart?

Cute and fluffy. Nekomori maybe a oneshot but does its job by giving us an interesting protagonist as well as a fun heroine who is a tomboy so like this series is automatically awesome. The concept is done well but really there is only so much you can do in a oneshot. I guess the entire idea is that the series leaves you for more and this series does exactly that. Really wised there was more of the tomboy heroine.
Yes the shy tomboy is used a lot in shoujos, but she's the best kind- honest. When she wants to be cute, she bluntly says she was trying to be cute instead of attempting to cover is up. The boy is pretty plain, but had a reason to be. It was great how he resolved his own problem, the way it should be. The girl is supposed to influence the boy's views but not solve his problems. She's fantastic. Sweet and, to me, obedient. She states her wrongs, her opinions, and her intentions. Loved it. Really encouraging to me. It refreshed my resolve on life, even if it was a oneshot.
Everything around this oneshot was perfect!
The art is beautiful, the plot itself is interesting and nice, the protagonists DO develop during this short time and the female lead is absolutely adorable!

Oh my gosh, this has to be one of the cutest (if not /the/ cutest) oneshots I've ever read. The female lead is a breath of fresh air when compared to most other shoujo protagonists, and the male lead is great as well. I just wish it was longer than just one chapter.

i just love it when the handsome introvert finally breaks out of his shell from the advice of the character that he will later fall in love with~ oh gosh. and yeah~ i also have a thing for heroines that are not your ordinary girly girls which is hecka nice.

This has got to be the cutest oneshot I have ever read. It was a truly endearing and interesting oneshot. I was amazed by the premise. It was well executed and new to me. I hope I get to see more of this author's work!

*edit* I just re-read this (it's still the cutest thing ever), and I kept giggling to myself thinking about what it looks like to others when he just stares at people's "heart doors" (or their chest since no one else can see it) =P
