The male lead is quite smart and proactive for his age. And while the female lead may come off as emotionless early on, she does care about people in general, and doesn't want to get them in trouble since she's being hunted.

Their dynamic was just great from the start, he's such a charmer, lol. They're both kids, so it's fair that she thinks he's just a child since he's younger than her. I loved it, though they could have improved upon the ending.

The female lead is a young miko who has stronger powers than the average miko is sought by many people who knows her power so she can perform miracles for them which she does by writing a scroll and turning it into reality but in return, she gets locked up so she won't leave. She initially appeared cold and emotionless due to the way she was treated by adults but she starts changing when she met the male lead who is a young boy. They live in ancient Japan and in a world where mikos are sought after because of their powers. Personally, I find the story very cute and it feels like the early chapters of Claymore except much more lighthearted.
