So-so; Not Memorable

First; the cover really isn't the best depiction of the art, nor is it too far off the mark.
Second; the story is well paced and pretty cliched, and I feel that the mangaka hasn't thought out the character profile fully or has been unable to portray them properly.
Third; There was thing disconnect between Kousaka's character role as a teacher and a lover. For me he failed at both. And Takuma's character just falls flat for me, especially since his home situation is just placed there without any significance of the whole story: edit it out and it won't make much of a difference.
Fourth; there were funny scenes and they were nice, I think if the mangaka has flushed out that angel a bi more there could have been more flow.
While I don't particularly buy the argument that since it's a first work it should be judged lightly (because everything is a first) I do believe that there are certain things which one can only learn from experience. Since this is SATO Tsubame's first work I guess I am more inclined to be considerate, that's why I rate it a 7.

I wish this manga could've been more consistent in execution, because the second half really pales in comparison to the first. I actually like the characters; they're charming and likeable, which the artwork compliments so well. But sensei is such a push-over that it didn't feel as though he was totally committed to their relationship and more like he's just being dragged along by his student's wilfulness. Their chemistry the entire time ever since they'd officially become an item was just off, somehow. One's rather taciturn and indifferent while the other's too hot-blooded and immature. Doesn't make for a very long future together imo.

Started out strong

It had a good start, a realistic one too were things weren't too rushed. However, somewhere in the middle it started to go a biiiit downhill. I would have preferred if there was at least two more chapters were you get to see more of their lives together after high school. I just hate when authors choose to include a rushed sex scene at the end instead of really branching the story out.

Alas, it was still not bad. I liked it, especially the sensei.
