Description
From Yen Press:
Suzuki is a programmer in the midst of a death march-crunch time, when coders live on caffeine and pull twenty-hour days. He just needs a little nap...but then he has a dream. A dream where he's in another world, with RPG powers right out of his game. A dream where he calls down a great disaster. A dream that, suspiciously, just won't end...

I Hope You Have Patience

It's really slow for a manga, so much so I suspect it'll be 6-7 years before the story finishes at this rate. (It took 94 chapters...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
to slay the first of seven plus a secret boss demon lords, but removing half the chapters for stuff that doesn't need to be relearned means probably 47 chapters per cycle, and its a monthly release.)

Art is nice enough, characters are fun, a lot of familiar isekai tropes and enough of it done well enough I can say its above average. I both like and dislike the pacing, so it'll really depend on your patience if this is worth a read.

Nothing stands out, lazy plot

Standard harem fantasy isekai, fairly well made.
The plot is just carried by a series of random events, the protagonist lucks out everything, and of course he's the kind hearted type, with a naiveness that comes to be annoying at times. He is flat out dumb until he needs to show off extensive knowledge of whatever scientific, technical and culinary knowledge from our world. He hides his power as he doesn't want to stand out "to live a quiet life", like travelling around the world fighting monsters and demons, choosing to go in the most dangerous area in the realm just 'cuz, meddling with whoever's business,... quite ridiculous imo.
Seriously, the fact that every arc is just mc randomly stumbling in villains and powerful people and oh-so-luckily always having progressed just enough to be able to take on the quest, together with actions never having any side effect on the surrounding world, is more than enough to say the author is one lazy bastard.

The power system works well. As PZcolo says, a good note is the way the mc interacts with women, it feels more human than in most cases: he's not a total pervert but he is a man, and while not touching children and being able to restrain himself when he should, he does go to the brothel when given a chance.
Other than that, nothing in this manga stands out all that much, apart maybe for some boobs.

Normally I only review when the series ends but for this one I just gotta say a few things.

I agree with both the other reviews here on all their points.

This ML is one of the worst I've read in so many ways, at times he plays 4d chess then other times a toddler could have outwitted him. He's full of OP abilities yet half the time the ability gets referenced once then you never see it again.

I have dropped this series at least a few times only to pick it up later cause I had nothing to read and it each time I quickly remember why I drop it. It's just such a sloggy boring read and the characters don't make it any better (realistically they make it worse).

I've read up to ch84 and I swear you could condense these 84 chapters down to about 15-20 chapters and nothing would be lost.

Too much harem, too little plot
by PZcolo

Story is nothing new and the presentation is not particularly interesting so far, it's actually quite boring. Fortunately except for Pochi and Tama being too bright and easygoing for someone living with so much hardship and how wastely the MC uses his skill points, the story has been coherent and consistent thus far. Unfortunately this comes at the cost of too much detailed for no reason. I did this, I did that, ordered this and that, then ate this and this and this and so on for pages and pages... I mean I get it doing once or twice or even once in a while to show their everyday life or to introduce knowledge, items, info, skills, etc. that will be used later but it's way too overdone here, and even more important, if the author must describe all, he shouldn't waste one panel per description!! This results as Jandalman says in a very slow pace and the most useless overpowered MC I've seen since he does little other than fool around with his private harem.
As for the characters, the MC is boring, very boring it's as if he is Maria Theresa de Calcutta that he doesn't even get angry at people? I'm ok with him being a good samaritan but come on!! not only boring but also quite frustrating. I have to admit thou that at least the MC, even if he doesn't lay a hand in the girls he gets his share elsewhere. As for the harem girls, they each are a cliche and are encased in them un thus feel two dimensional puppets and not real people

So mainly it's ruined by too much harem and slice of life with too little and diluted plot content, it's only getting to the 50's ch at this point but still unless the mangaka decides to up the tempo and stop with the boring harem I don't see this as other than a mediocre or almost decent manga.

Seriously, if you actually want plot progression and not just to stare at drawings then read the Web novel instead. This manga is TWO YEARS OLD and yet only about 3% of the story in relation to the WN. Yes I know the manga is following the LN version instead of the WN but really the differences between LN and WN are not worth waiting FOREVER for this manga to progress.
