I dropped Nakamura's Skip Beat but decided to read this oneshot, even though I don't like her art-style.
The plot was really nice, but I don't like student-teacher-relationships, so that annoyed me a little, and all the female students getting so exited over him were so clicheed and over-exaggerated.
Some parts were too confusing, because the author tried to put deep emotions into little space and that didn't work out well, unfortunately. It woul have been better if the story was simpler.

Not to be biased but every manga of Nakamura Sensei are all good reads and have the same funny characters, I just wish that she could have make more chapters to show the developments of her two characters but anyway this story is not bad for a one shot and the guy kinda remind me of Ren so I enjoyed reading it.
It's great...

...because its a one shot filled with sexual tension without smut (hats off to you sensei!). It's very rare for shoujo mangas to have such sizzling chemistry between the leading pair without going ecchi, and its still readable and deep (though it takes several readings to understand the fundamental bits of the story...) The art may not be to everyone's taste, but it is one of her earlier works and you do get used to it the more you read her stuff (however, her artwork has improved so much since then, as you see in skip beat). Maybe it should be at least two chapters, but after reading it several times you do get to understand the complexities of the story and the characters in it. However I think sensei is better suited to drawing long running mangas rather than one-shots, because she at least gets the space to explore her characters in greater depth (which is why after two years I still love skip beat.) You can tell sensei was too deprived of space to develop of the story and the characters further... That's why I give it 8.5/10
loved it

I thought it was a lovely short with a good message. I didn't feel like it was contrived at all and I felt completeley in-tune with the flow. Lovely characters, lovely art. A sweet, sexy story.

this one-shot tried to sound deep- but the execution came off sounding confusing and contrived. Nevertheless, love the art (though I know Nakamura's style isn't to everyone's taste) - i love how Nakamura conveys funny scenes and feelings. And the teacher was h-o-t- if Ren acted like that with Kyoko in Skip Beat- I would have a total nosebleed.

i did not understand the ending to that story, perhaps im just dense in a sense, i really didn't like this that much, i dont know why, but the story didn't flow for me, and the guy was a major turn off...it felt choppy at parts and had a pretty generic story
Eh Indeed

Love Nakamura's works in general, but this one is rather weak in content, even for a one-shot. Tries too heavily to deliver that personal moral the author does, but doesn't work well in such a short work.

I found this pretty boring, actually. The characters weren't all that good. I also wasn't too fond of the artwork. I like Skip Beat because of the story itself, but really, this mangaka's art isn't really my style. Without a great plot and awesome characters, her work just falls flat in my opinion.

This is kind of confusing but I guess it has a good ending. The characters are drawn out well.
