Loving It

Really entertaining, I found myself getting mad with the protagonist when he does, and honestly caring for the other characters.
All things seems to have a reason to be so far, and I can't stop making assumptions about who the "bad" guy really is on this story

All in all, worth the read, at least for me.

How come this manga is actually good?

Sanbe Kei´s only selling point is his memorable art and all his previous series were either awful exhibitionism hentai or dumb pseudo-shounen horror with an exhibitionism focus. I thus wouldn't have given this series a second glance if it hadn´t been nominated for an award this week and i could believe my eyes. The moody art wasn´t a surprise, but the lack of dumb fan-service and the engaging mystery writing were.
I am not sure how the time travel plot is supposed to be resolved and thus hope the narrative won´t fall apart or drag along, as the mangaka is showing actual promise for the first time in his "career". The series may not be an Urasawa grade masterpiece but the only genuine criticisms i have are the out if place genki female love interest in the present time-line and that all the characters look too similar in age. The more messy Montage (WATANABE Jun) (7,5/10) and the reviewed Spirit Circle (9/10) are somewhat similar recent tales and are further recommendations.
Update: The ending is solid but nothing special, the one-off epilogue manga is plot essential and the anime is well done but the 2nd half is greatly rushed.

Suspenseful but at times painful to read

This is so amazingly close to the reality of how real people behave in tough situations that I can't get over it. The emotional realism makes the suspense expertly set up by the story all the more believable and intense. From what I've read so far (through chapter 9), I think maybe its emotions will be what will make this manga great. I think many tears and fears are coming down the line, so much so that I almost am afraid to read more. Stories can actually do that to people when they're this good!

This manga is really amazing! I was hesitate at first because the description for this manga didn't grab my attention, but after reading the comments it made me want to read this manga; they were right. After reading chapter and after chapter, the plot keeps drawing you in. I love the mysteries surrounding this manga. I'm really excited after just reading 5 chapters so it made want to comment on it right now so others can share my excitement for this manga.

The thing that captivates me the most is how it makes you feel when I read it. Like the person below me said, it gives me chills too when I keep reading. I'll give this a 9/10 for now because it still hasn't ended yet and I don't know if the plot will get worse or better as the story progresses.

I started reading this because I really love sensei's Mouryou no Yurikago and Hoozuki no Shima series.
Unlike the previous two I mentioned here which both of the series started with suspense situations on the first chapter, I thought the plot for this one kinda slow and boring.

But after I read the next chapter, and the next chapter, and the next chapter, I know I'm wrong.

I don't know about others, but after the recent chapters (i'm on chapter 7) whenever I relate the series meaning ' The Town Where Only I Am Missing' with the page where little Fujinuma holding a trowel and a bucket surrounded by the tall grass in chapter 1, I kinda get an eerie feeling.
No, I guess I got mix feelings; eerie, warm, suspense throughout reading this series.

It's good to know Fujinuma really loves his mom. And I think he's really cute when he's a child.

I like the plot and characters I really appreciate themes like time loop, time travel, time paradox.

I hope the author don't screw up the ending like Hoozuki no Shima
