10! you know i am glad that Chinkara shared with us the unbelievable story of the great great great-....-great uncle Kimosabi Watanabe, that plus the awesome story that is the life of Victor Freeman just makes this one of the most enjoyable reads, i wish i could have more of this, both of Kimosabi and Blaster Knuckle.
This is basically a blaxpoitation film in manga form. If you're into those sorts of things -- I am -- you'll definitely like this. There are so many fun scenes, like monsters taking advantage of racism to eat humans, an ex-slave/ex-boxer punching the crap out of the KKK, slavers, and hordes of monsters, aforementioned guy teaming up with a bounty hunter with a gun for a doggone arm, because monsters ate his real arm, and much more. It's an entertaining anachronism stew.
There needs to be more manga about black people slaughtering white slavers and KKK. Kudos for this manga and its historically accurate portrayal of 19th century American South.

more like Bers->Blaster->Claymore(Yagi Norihiro borrowed from many mangas...). Crude, simple and somehow disturbing (why? shot me). Well, it's ok to pass some time with fine drawn hack&slash (hit&shot).
Ch. Why must awesome series be canceled, and all crappy shojo manga thrive? WHY?
Anyway, this was an enjoyable read. Awesome concept, and a good level of fighting. It could have a little more violence, but it was still great. Sadly, it had a horrible ending. Mostly likely because it was canceled.
You know what it reminded me of? A bad-ass version of claymore. =D

I really liked the crazy concept, and it was a lot of fun to read. The story and characters were actually getting pretty interesting, the art was great, and it had a lot of potential, so it's a real shame it got canceled at the third volume.

Fun Story. Awesome Art. Badass main character. It fitted all the requirements for an awesome manga, how could it receive a less than perfect score from me? One reason just as the plot, action, and characters were developing the story just ended abruptly leaving you less than satisfied and more or less stupified . .

Art is amazing, character and story is cool. Spend 1 hour or little mroe and read this, definitely wont disappoint u if u like blood and action ^^
