The messages are quite clear, esp. the first half, but the way they are presented makes a very interesting read. Love this kind of manga. The very fitting artstyle helps a lot too.
These are stories about out-of-the-way aspects of life. The first two are about emotions we may end up having when we have given in completely to other people. There's no way to tell such a quiet, private story without symbols and other unusual content. You may have to think hard to get these stories. Personally, I love them.
