I have watched anime a quite while ago and recently decided to read the novel. It's entertaining story, though felt a bit short (I know, it's a light novel, but still), but it kind ruined the nostalgia I had before since I idolized anime. The story is basically about discarding your dreams and submitting to status quo. Even though the main character's life was mess, he himself had an interesting personality. The problem was, he had no character... But the resolution felt as if they simply gave up, and I hated that.

I really do. At first, I thought it would be another manga I'd stop reading before Chapter 1 ended, but I was so, so wrong.

The art, though a bit inconsistent and messy, was great. It fit the story well. I like how the mangaka draws almost realistically, and the way he drew those funny, silly faces of Satou. You can really see emotion on the characters' faces, which I loved.

The storyline-beautiful, though it could do with, uh, less erotic themes. But I'm not saying it was too flawed because of it. I think there are very little flaws to this story. Anyway, it really delves into the "psychological" category and has mature themes that youngins won't understand/enjoy. Overall, the story is quite realistic and uplifting at times. I'm not too fond of the ending, but its still a must-read story.

Amazing, just... Amazing... I bought the tokyopop release. ...I couldn't stop reading. I like the fact that it wasn't like the Anime, but still felt the same way; and the ending was beyond epic (different from the anime and manga; in a way. ...huhuhu).
