Some may say Flying Witch is bland, but it's actually just really chill. It's also the most believable depiction of magic I have ever seen in fiction. I have to wonder if the author dabbles in witchcraft because of how knowledgeable they are about witch culture. Or maybe they've done extensive homework. It's a true slice of life because I COULD apply so many of the real world things that are featured here to my own life. My one criticism is that the artwork has gotten very sloppy as of late.

This is not a bad series, and it may appeal to some, but I found it rather bland. There's no continuous thread, just episodic feel-good short stories. Everyone is kind, the main character is a typical airhead, its familiar is slightly grumpy, the onee-san and imouto-chan are very cliché, no one has any strong feeling, no suggestion of romance, even the humour is laid back... If it was contemplative or well-drawn, I might have gone further, but I got bored at chapter 12.

The oneshot is really well done and the series is very reminiscent of Yotsuba&!. If you enjoy Yotsuba humor, I think you'll enjoy this. It really is laid back like the previous commenter said.

This is one cute laid back slice of life manga. No a complexity yet presented, and the humor is honest (this is the best part). Good manga! Oh, oh, to the people who scanlate this, your website must be the best looking scanlator website. Too bad I can't find comment section or guestbook to leave this praise. Awesome works!
