Another best detective manga

The art is simple and lots of humour yet not boring...i totally like how the protagonist explain logically to link the crime scene with the culprit...he is calm, logic and well-observed. When read the first episode, i thought this must be boring yet after reading a few episodes this actually worth to read.

I have gotten to all of the translated pages, i'm really glad it was translated offically, so i'm waiting to see how volume 7 ends, but i have to say i'm glad i stumbled on it. The character's are likeable, the art is neat, the story flows nicely, but i find it's compact in volumes, it should have been a little longer to pace it a little bit, but other than that, it's a good read, and i'm glad i found it

This story is seriously underrated!!! There were twists in the story which made me go 'omg, what just happened', and the way the manga portrays the criminals- Really unique! I wouldn't actually find these kind of criminals in other detective mangas/novels. Though the summary does talk about M and S, it's really more of a humorous intake, if anything. The way the author portrays their S&M personality makes you sympathize with the Sadist(Kuroba)'s victims, but really, you would think most of them deserve it.
The protagonist and the deuteragonist's relationship is really enjoyable to read, and seriously, humorous. They really reminds me of Alba and Ross from Senyuu. One S, and one M(kind-of).
This manga is really good, and really deserves a read!

I still can't get over all the twists of the manga.

...and though I think the first chapter is awkward and the Japanese take on the S vs. the M is overdone in it, once the initial exposition is past it finds its place and goes along at a good clip.

It helped when in chapter 2 the M stands up for himself just a little bit, in other words, just enough to make me care about him. The M in chapter 1 coulda been replaced by pudding- & omerice-eating cardboard, for all I cared.
