Boring Summary, Good Episodic Love

I was bored and skimmed the titles on Bunny's Reader and found this one even if it sounded uninteresting. The plot is well done with trivia about working in the Japanese television industry. This artist is a fan of variety shows and it really comes through in its reaction scenes and style.

The relationship is well contextualized here with admitting feelings, telling friends, moving in, and does not end with nor include the "first time." Someone trying to steal the other doesn't even happen until after they've established the relationship. The other characters are also refined with their own quirks and interactions. Really unique setting and extrapolates how romance can be told. (Not always just kissing and sex.)

I will say there are two distinct negatives. (1) Pushes the "crazy ex girlfriend" narrative and some other casual (internalized?) misogyny. Ugh. (2) Miyasaka at one point lays his hands on Yano and bruises him, but it is never properly addressed or apologized for. Actually, there are quite a few times he is more forceful than I'm comfortable with.
