A complex taste

OKAY so first of all I especially made an account here just to comment on this one 'cause I feel like this is such an underrated manga. Well yeah it started as rough and some parts were tough to read (most especially if the reader is faint-hearted) but sometimes one has to taste the bitterness in order to appreciate the sweetness that follows afterwards you know? Like in this particular work, just as the volume 1 is bitter to the taste, volume 2 is just as sweet... Trust me, you'll never go wrong with this one. The art is superb, the story is definitely unique, and the characters are lovable. It's fun watching their relationship (and also the characters) grow and change with each chapter. But like I said, to uncover the underlying sweetness, one must experience the initial bitter taste preceding it.

Started out well but...

I liked the first chapter. The settings were quite interesting but after the first chapter the story started to become the kind of stories I don't like. There's really no character development here (even though the settings were very good for it!) and during the later chapters I just felt sorry for Riku. As the categories hint the seme of the story is a cruel and sadistic. So if you're into that then go for it, but this isn't my cup of tea.

This couple is truly strange...during the later chapters, I felt really sorry for Riku. It's not too light-hearted yet it's...i don't know. The beginning was great, but slowly it started to unwind into something I don't really like in yaoi...however, this is somewhat a guilty pleasure of i'll rate it high for a while lol

Similar to Kawaii Akuma

I've read the first two chapters so far, and the manga has some features which are strikingly similar to Kawaii Akuma: the uke is unpopular, meek and quiet while the seme is hot and possessive. The plot is quite light-hearted, with a tiny tiny bit of angst. It's a fun read overall.
