I don't really like the way the author end this series. It's kind of lame.
The story is rather similar-hell, it's the same story, but we already know from the original that the village becomes a dead town. It also offers a better explanation for the virus, though. But I highly doubt that technology would be so advanced that they know how the virus controls the brain...well, whatever. The trails were kinda boring, but the spice was the female character. (The psycho one)
The characters, the setting and especially how mundane the "trials" made it impossible for me to continue. It is incredibly easy to make this kind of setting boring, so I don't really blame the author, but what the story required was to emulate Marginal Operation in its execution of content. Very little happened in Marginal Operation at the start, but I was immediately hooked.
