Description

At first glance, the reader might be prompted to think of fluffy, sweet and cute shoujo-esque mangas because of the deceptive artwork. But La Suite D'amour Du Chat Noir is not. Some of the one-shots written are actually quite dark and do not have a 'resolved' ending as of yet. But otherwise, it is a good read, with a perverse side, along with witches, broken hearts and missed opportunities of love.

This collection of horror-romance shorts is worth checking out. The cover may look cute, but these stories about witches, vampires, and ghosts are all unsettling and strange (though not horrific and gruesome). The first story, about the cat on the cover, is sweet and touching. I don't usually read elementary-school level shoujo manga anymore, but I still really enjoyed this volume. Highly recommended, especially for Halloween!
But even though this is dark and (not gruesome at all) incomplete in my eyes, I still found this enjoyable. as I always say I hate the usual cliche romances and these are the type of manga i seek. I will say that it is not the best I have read nor the worse.
