Nae's (the heroine) parents did not divorce, her parents died in an accident when she was younger. the verbally abusive couple she lives with in the beginning are her "distant relatives" (she refers to them as her aunt and uncle). she also did not run away, but was rather taken away by kaoru's grandfather without her knowledge in the middle of the night

What I like about this manga is that it's somehow different to most of the shoujo comics I've read. It's like a breath of fresh air! Nae, the female protagonist is so adorable and sincere. She's a sweet kid and somehow her personality contradicts the male protag who keeps a cold facade although he came to realize how Nae is honestly different from the people he met. The plot was interesting and the moment I've read the first chap, bruh,I got hooked!Their love towards each other is downright precious! Kaoru x Nae for lifeeeee! 😍
