Narrative..

Althought the art is beautiful and the story is interesting, the narrative is a little 'weird'.... I don't know how to explain it that well... but I thought that the development was forced. The first chapter ended way too fast in my opinion. The crow affirms a lot about the woman's character but the reader never gets to confirm any of that and is supposed to believe the crows perception from chopped passages (the mangaka doesn't go throught the whole scene, just the part that should make the crow sound right... so it feels like a gimmick to me...) .
Still, I would have liked to read past the 5th chapter

Original but cut short too soon

If you read from chapters 1-4, you'll be fine but you'll be strongly met with disappointment if you continue on and read chapter 5. I don't know why this manga was discontinued but I enjoyed the originality of this manga. It was just getting started so it's understandable that it had to create a foundation before continuing on. The originality was intriguing enough to keep with it even as it was taking root. I wonder if this was discontinued because of the impatience for gratification =( The story keeps with the whole "be careful of what you wish for" and literally personifying a stone, anthropomorphizing it. Everything in the world exists from something else; if something is created and given, then something else must have been taken in some way/form. There is only a certain quantitative amount of stuff in the world

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Initially the stone is innocent and naive of the ways of the world, naively granting wishes and not wondering about possible costs (it wasn't in his dictionary apparently). Years later after suffering for the actions and consequences that he had not intended nor understood, he is forgotten and wakens once again in a human form. Granting wishes here and there; never dictating right/wrong but simply giving and letting people suffer the consequences no matter how small the wish is. I would have liked to know more about the stone's journey since a stone is only as big as its mass and is not infinite so that would mean that the stone would have its end.
I'd like to have seen what would have happened.... Last updated on April 12th, 2015, 11:36am

I'm pretty sure it was cancelled because of where it cuts off. Honestly I enjoyed the chapters I read, but I'd recommend people not to start this manga because it cuts off in the middle of the story, which was really disappointing.
