The story did kinda drag on to me as a whole, but it was okay. If you're into super-nice, gullible, Tohru Honda-ish protagonist, then this manga is for you. Billion Girl literally has NO ending so yeah just putting that out there. I'm still putting it in my completed list tho..
Plus, Sakai-sensei's art is somewhat nostalgic to me.. kinda reminds me of 'Speed Racer'.

This is your normal shoujo but a good light reading. The only thing to say: how can something go on for 10 volumes and all of a sudden stop with no closure at all. Respect to readers is something that some printing companies/mangaka have to learn! 
All I have to say to summerise this is with a word commonly used ... wait for it .. 
C.R.A.P CRAP , oh and if your thinking (just like I was) that the girl gonna have a makeover(hehe it gets better !!) .. she doesn't.. XD I read 2 chapters then skipped the rest up until chapter 4 then skipped to 26 and stopped .... yaay

Urgh! Was wondering how she was going to tie everything up in a single volume and then I reached the end!!! After all that is happening in the story, it ends on a proportional cliffhanger. Hiatus!, with no definite hope of the series continuing! I'm ticked.
NOT recommended UNTIL it's COMPLETED. Afterwards, have at it. It's a good story with likeable characters. A high point is how all the characters have their own unique personalites; not carbon copies of each other.

I LURVE it, its plot is so random, yet, the characters are enigmatic, it kept me glued all the wa ntil the last release, lookig forward for mo, THANK YOU, WILLFUL MUSE scanlation team!!!!!

I read the summary for this, and i was like "OooH, sounds interesting!!" but when i actually start reading the manga...what a DISAPPOINTMENT! i dragged myself to finish vol.1, and heading on to vol. 2 in hopes that it would get better, but noooo. the story is pretty basic in my opinion (very much like 100% Perfect Girl and Haou Airen) and not only that...i found the artwork dang annoying! the girl looks so BLAGH...everytime i see her sorry face, i just wanna punch her (of course i restrain since i don't wanna break my mon)...but anyway, the guy married that kinda girl for a billion? he must be cuckoo in the head man.
So i just started reading volume 6 and the plot line is getting WAY OVER DRAMATIC AND CLICHE its tiring. Yes, its interesting but i why did you have to make the mistress, the wife's twin sister

Sheesh I hate it when weak females go, what will i do, i cannot do anything but accept his order...UGH ANNOYING!!!! BTW that is how all the female seems in this manga that what killed it for me. Also I agree that the art kinda blows....

Also I agree that the art kinda blows....I oddly liked it, the plot line reminded me of the old bearskin fairytale, where the Devil forces a man to wear a bearskin and never shave/clean himself in exchange for all the money he wants. The man saves another and is promised the bride of one of the mans daughters. The girls think bearskin is ugly and force him onto the youngest daughter. Its nice to see something other then cinderella. I feel the art was good, better then most atleast.
i just stared reading this manga today and i kinda like it . now I'm really anxious to know what happens next but i have no idea when the next chapter comes out i really want to know . T-T... i hate when i gotta wait for
It's not that good. The plot is old and boring and without the support of the drawing (hey Sakai, your drawing sucks) no doubt it's never stood out, lol .
