It couldn't be more cliche. Same thing repeats over nad over. New rival gets introduced, he/she does something with the ML or FML which gets misunderstood, they get on the verge of breaking up(infact do in some cases) then get back together again. Like man how dumb is this is executed made me laugh that I'm even reading it. Both the leads are very badly and immaturely written. Waste of time to read it honestly.

God i love a quirky mc

By far my most favourite part about this is the mc's quirky personality, a smart but overly quirky female lead is gold. It does recycle situations alot which was annoying and is probably the biggest drawback to this and I did almost rage at the slightly abrupt end but we got a couple of extra chapters so it's getting a thumbs up from me.

I've just watched the movie and them I started to read the manga. I liked the movie way better, because the idea is way better executed and a lot of things make more sense. Somehow I am disappointed but I will try to read it until the end.

Really worth to read

Recently I looked for a student-teacher romance manga, and this one is the best after FTAK, I should say. They're quite open in their relationship (being able to kiss in the school, and in classroom too). The story and characters are sweet too. I like that they don't rush in their relationship, even though they're engaged and all. I really hoped I could read the continuation of the story. Really hoped there will be a release in my country too. smile)

Loved it~!!!

I watched the movie at first and I thought that it sucked. The actress had the acting skills of a cucumber and the actor who played the sensei looked like an over-tanned boys-band member.
The movie portrayed Kururugi as an emotionless, sociopathic person.
On the contrary, in the manga, Kururugi has may friends and is joyous and playful and her character has a lot of sides to it. That's why I love this manga.
I enjoy the sensei-student genre in all, but I did enjoy reading ir a lot!
I can absolutely say that I enjoyed it way better than the manga "sensei".
Even though a proposal came so quickly, it somehow felt right and not too hasty.
I'm at the 9th voulme at the moment, I'm so hoping for a great ending.
So far I give it a 9.9 (coz nothing's perfect lol).

Loving the pace in volume 4

Finally love rivals worthy of the title, who aren't going about their obstructive ways in an OTT manner but genuinely creating dissent and conflict... Arrgh but I hate how easily this fellow seems to give up on their love while sometimes it feels like he wants to give it their all... I feel he's a closeted tsundere with how he expresses himself. He'll (seemingly always) have a plan to make things right between them but not mollify Uni enough at the moment and let her keep stewing or tormented all by her lonesome. Grrr older boys! Just coz he's cute and he knows his way about steamy kisses in girls bathrooms and makes her (and us readers) weak in knees all the time!!!

EDIT: But sensei's behaviour is driving me up the wall now. He just... doesn't fight for her. Much. I think. And despite him allaying her insecurities, he does things that will clearly implicate him and then puts on the cool nonchalant act. It's fine, if you're in that sort of a relationship where both parties are mature, but Uni isn't! She's a 16 year old kid who will keep messing up and throwing tantrums, he needs to work around that! ... Argh I'm getting too invested in their ridiculous shenanigans! Why couldn't this have stupid art, then I wouldn't keep coming back for more!

It's Crazy But I Love It

I quite like the romance going on between Haruka sensei and Uni.
It is unlike any other student-teacher genre. Usually the sensei is always restricted in his actions because of his position but Haruka never fails to show to Uni how much he loves her. I like the part where Haruka proposes to Uni and promise his whole life to her. The romance is unrestricted and their chemistry is good. It was almost perfect except for the gag and over exaggerated comedy but you can't seem to hate it at times.

It's crazy and very unpredictable. Unlike any stereotypical shoujo.
It's quite cute..
Overall I really enjoy reading this!!!!!!

Uni was definitely someone I really enjoyed reading about initially cause she was somewhat tsundere but now she's become a crybaby and it's begining to bother me. I hope she stops that and grows a frontal lobe already. As for the rest of the story, I'll just keep reading and hope for the best.

OTT on the weird situations

I wish the author had realised that she could have made this a comedy without going OTT on the situations
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
such as getting engaged by the end of the first volume
which was completely unrealistic and kind of ruined it for me. I wish this had progressed more like the first two chapters and had focused on subtely including humor, rather than the author having to think up wierd scenarios that would create humorous situations. That said, I think if you read this manga expecting it to be a comedy rather than a more serious look at a student-teacher relationship its fine. Aside from that, Uni's personality is refreshing, and although she does cry quite a bit, it's not irritating. Although I think the "child prodigy" has not been thought through completely; surely she would have skipped grades?

Its getting better and better.......

The 1st two chapters were ok, I wasnt loving it, but it was ok.

Then Uni's quirky personality and his love of satisfying her tsundere side gets really cute. The story is unrealistic in some ways (like fujiko-sensei's secret and her family who are a little bit like the Addams family), but in others I think their relationaship is more like a real relationship than most of the other student-teacher stories out there.

Its starting to take a little more serious turn with chapter 7, but this manga is actually really good. The person writing about him being just a sexual harasser should have kept reading. If you like Akuma to Love Song, Five, Tenshi Ja Nai, or Girl in Heels, then these characters have some of the same air. And the main girl, Uni, has great confidence- not a weak heroine at all.

FYI: uni = sea urchin (very spikey outside)
