Orie Nakano's girlfriend is cheating on him with two other men! One is the mysteriously untouchable Tatsumi, and the other is the basketball-playing upperclassman that Orie idolizes. But things are far from being as simple as they seem, and now the three men are inevitably pulled towards each other and bond together by their love for Yuka, which extends much farther than just the girl herself. Love, admiration and lust intermingle around them in an inescapble spiral in this coming of age sexy romance.

really good manga with pretty art

I just read unpleasant comments below and I thought "geez! you people should at least acknowledge the genre before reading..."
It's Psychological. Psychological! it means -> usually deals with philosophy or a state of mind, nine cases out of ten the crazy kind, may contain some disturbing contents. The point is you shouldn't read sth you aren't ready for and then criticize it without a second thought even if you have a right to do so... I mean no harm. Furthermore even in yaoi there ARE girls, moreover quite often and still there are terribly surprised people... to whine about female lead character? why? honestly I don't get it. It's quite of refreshing. Not a next boring cliché.

It is really good manga with nice art, unique characters, plot and nice sex scenes and/but it is Psychological and you should give it a second thought. If you have no desire to do that - don't read it. There are 4 main characters bounded by difficult relationship, one of them is female. There's unexpected twist in the plot (or precisely two) that changes everything in their lives, that force them to face their true feelings and deal with unusual situation
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
it's their lover's deadly disease and the consequences of this disease including death herself.

As you can expect it's really hard for those guys since they're still teenagers. There's love, lust, admiration, jealousy, pity, concern, hate, anger, vengeful desire and friendship. They have different personalities
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
but the same lover. They must resolve many problems in their hearts and between each other. They're trying to find out her reasons as well as readers SHOULD because author left that without answer. We can only guess... The girl faced with deadly disease started to behave unreasonably and going out with 3 guys in the same time. But is that really unreasonable? She was very young but still had a death sentence, she knew she will never marry anybody nor have a children. She liked all of them but had no time to find out whom she likes the most. She treated each boy differently, special. She must've had a hard time but never complains. Well I don't dislike her. She didn't say anything to Orie the purest guy between those 3. I guess some people didn't even bother to think bout it... well nevermind.
In the end all of the boys desperately trying to easy the pain after lost of beloved one using sex. I like characters unique personalities, especially smart, sincere, tricky ladykiller Tatsumi who's trying to drawn in sex pleasure to forget... but he's aware it's pointless, that his pain won't disappear like that

As for me I wish for the hotter ending, it could be more background of the characters, but I do understand that the mangaka wanted to focus on deadly disease and it's consequences for living ones, by all meanings. This story is about it, bout pain & dealing with the lost of someone dear. You can also give some thought about boys' sex, it's different kind in the beggining, middle and in the end of story.
It's just not fair to explain here everything, use your brain and have fun smile

The story was... different. It has it's own uniqueness but overall was a bore. Read if you're bored and in for a simple read. I thought the characters were really flat and didn't have much feeling to them except Tatsumi. There wasn't really any logic behind why they decided to do what they did. It was more angst and longing for someone in a very weird and heterosexual way.

I've never been so pissed about yaoi which includes hetero sex... except now. Yuka is stupid, selfish little slut and annoying on top of that. But really I don't hate her as much as the guys.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Guys in this manga were just AWFUL, weak and really, really, really STUPID. I thought this was some normal story but then comes this second guy a.k.a the manwhore who for some reason fell in love with a slut.... and then this melodramatic sempai who can't make up his mind whether he wants orie dead or not.

But worse of all... they all claim to be in love when they obviously don't know what love is! I can't... I just really don't know what to say. If this artists plan was to make the most ridiculous manga ever... oh, s/he succeeded.

By the way... why didn't they like hate each other? What is this? How to open relationship for dummiesconfused!!

Gahd, if there's a zero, I'll rate it zero. I mean, how is this even considered BL? BL is about boys' love [towards each other], not some boys' love for a single girl.

I just don't get them. Why?! Yuka was just a selfish bitch.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Getting three men at the same time just because she's dying? C'mon! She haven't even thought what the three will feel after she dies.

I get that it's psychological and all, but to pull it off, it needs some sense of realism. We need to understand more. Though, fine, granted that they really do love Yuka. Normally, they would be angry with each other right? Why f*ck each other? At first, Orie isn't even complaining? He's a man too! Why turn for your rival for comfort? Physical comfort at that. Gahd. It's just disturbing.

Honestly people, who says love have to be only between two people? Emotions are a well with an endless depth. Can you really only love one person in your life time? No. Crushes and infatuations are the seeds of love that grows if nurtured, withers if left unattended, and I think the girl in this manga was lucky enough to be loved and to love three guys in her lifetime. So those three guys came into her life at practically the same time, I think it's okay so long as everybody in the relationship is okay with it. Love is love and it is not bound to one thing or to one person. I'm just sad because at the end, the guys relationships, bound only by Yuka, eventually faded back to the point where they were merely fellow students that shared a bond once. TT^TT I was hoping they fell in love with each other but it's bittersweet the way it is, too. Can you really call this BL? In my opinion, no. Yes the guys had sex but I think of it as a more an escape of reality, running away from the truth that the woman they all loved died. I didn't realize until the end, that reading this manga was like dreaming and I didn't know I was dreaming until the end. It's like I could finally take a deep breath at the end and my chest finally loosens. Many people hate the girl and call her selfish, but I believe human love is selfish. We desire to monopolize our loved ones, to possess, to be loved by the one we love. I think she was very lucky to have known such love at the end of her life.

I want to say that I don't understand all the 'psychology' behind this story, but then again, as a sane person, I think how I feel is normal. The story makes no sense and you don't care about (and sometimes even hate) the characters. Ridiculous. Don't trust the description that tries to sell the story to you. The fact that June wasted time and resources translating and publishing this makes me grit my teeth on behalf of the great series that never get such a chance.

I like the tension between the 3 guys and all but the girl and the way the guys all didn't seem to give a damn that she played around like that really pisses me off.
Who the hell cares if she will die or whatever after she pulls stunts like that?
Okay, not everyone needs monogamy. But sleeping with at least 3 guys at the same time just cause, and those 3 guys then only come crying about how they all like her and she's oh so poor being sick...ug. At least someone there shoulda been man enough to tell her she was totally wrong doing this to the boys. She even clearly has a favorite in the 3!
Orie is wayyy too much of a ball-less sissy and Tatsumi, well, I like that he's after Orie right away but he also defends the backstabbing girl.
Suguru is a jerk. Ug.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He's Yuka's favorite and then tells Orie he should die why exactly?
Orie cares about the girl (even though he shouldn't) and um, that makes him fucking rape Orie und say he should die?? Really? While he keeps loving the girl who's whoring around?
And the fact that they both just go at Orie and rape him, for no reason whatsoever, is UG TOO MUCH! No way! I wanted to punch them when I read that.
Talk about hating characters!
I mean come on! If one of us fujoshi cheated on our boyfriend with 2 more guys, I highly doubt they're all just cool with it and go on about how much they love us, right? (Then again, seeing them in a hott BL threesome might be just right for us fujoshi)

RAGEEE!
Sorry, I know some people like reading this but for me, 4 totally unreasonable main characters who are just huge assholes, no plot can save that.
And the girl is neither overly pretty nor special, so really, why are those 3 acting like she's a goddess? Obviously she's cool enough to have the 3 guys bang each other just to remember her.

The art is nice, the characters are not very likable because of above mentioned reasons and the plot...well, it's certainly not happy.
It's dark, gloomy, disturbing with some decent smut.
I'll not recommend this to anyone, unless you look for explicitly disturbing yaoi.
Believe me, if you prefer happy stories, real love, cuteness and/or good characters then reading this
might leave you upset and sick.
I can handle darker stories (not that I mind cheating, threats and rape in manga) and all but the characters here were just ridiculous.

Yuka is a selfish whore who plays with other peoples' emotions just because she has cancer and thinks she can get away with it. Newsflash, bitch, their are other people on this Earth who will continue to live while maggots feast on your flesh. Also, not really yaoi. Horrible read, please, please, do not read it.

It wasn't as creepy as I thought it would be. If I wasn't so bored I wouldn't have finished it. I won't say I found it pleasant though. I could only stand the threesome here cause there wasn't any love involved among the 3. Flat plot, really. No romance at all.

if i were to answer about what type of BL story that was, i would say it was one of those were there's no depth, no sense, nothing but meaningless sex. not only gay sex but also the normal kind.
anyway, storywise, 3 teenage guys crave for their female sex-buddy, who claims to be in love with all 3 of them and when she's about to die and eventually does, they all turn gay and embrace each other, making the most delicate one playing the girl's role in sex and this behaviour gives them strength to deal with the cruel reality of having lost this girl forever.

nothing makes sense. why would someone turn gay just to get over his deceased girlfriend? why would anyone share his precious partner with other people and be a part of a harem? i understand that when people in despair want to forget, they may turn to alcohol or drugs and that people in love could accept everything for the sake of their beloved ones but i don't think that this is reason enough to make people gay or accept their partner's polygamic nature, either.

the worst thing is, that i happen to know a person that has a rare disease and she won't be able to live as long as a normal person does. and she did started having sex at an early age (and it's understandable that she wanted to hurry with this), but she is faithful to her boyfriends every time, and so while reading this story i found it extremely disturbing that this heroine was a sl*t by nature, enjoying sex with multiple partners and even orgies but all these were excused by the mangaka as something a person with a lethal disease would most likely do.
