Phenomenal, upsetting

The first book is a fun, interesting, kind of messed up story. This is like.......a thorough examination of the essence of love—the ugly, painful, addictive kind of love that makes you want to die. It is very well done. I can't say I feel satisfied, but I'm glad it left me unsettled. It's fitting. I was blown away over and over again at the writing in this....def will reread.

This one is far better than prequel but the thing I don't get and so annoyed by is how author so desperate to make Imagase pathetic and insecure...
Anyway this one is a decent read ofc comparing to that garbage prequel.

Problematic

Mizushiro has a lot of good stories but this one is horrible. I don't know if she's bi-phobic or clearly clueless of the theme she tries to explore, but she'd better stick with fantasy-ish shounen-ai because her attempt to make story realistic made manga problematic instead.

Now after reading the comments down blow I’ve decided to give this series a chance and boy was I’m glad to read it.

Now from a guys point on view, this was pretty realistic. I don’t know what Kreatur was talk about it why he talks about not every guy being like that because there are guys like that despite whether you like it or not. Or even brother reading it if you know it’s a boy love manga for that matter.

Anyway coming from the first series I gotta say I really enjoy this story. The problems of a gay guy who is in love with straight guy can be pretty relatable I gotta say. This reminds me of the secret of me and my boss by chiaki kashima which I also enjoy, senpai and imagnse characters development changes throughout these two volumes which I’ve enjoy this a lot. They had fun with one another. The fight with one another. There’s actually drama, which maybe it’s too much for some but I’ve enjoy every bit of it. Senpai who is straight actually had a affair. Actually has problem with his friend. Actually sleep with women which is very rare in a lot of stories I’ve read. There’s is not uke or seme is this story which surprise me because they do change place which I’ve never found since reading this story. The end made me cry. But it was realistic enough about love. Imagnse does get more girly in this story which his friend even says what he become since volume one. But he also has his dark side to him as well as his manly side as senpai does. Great series,

Masterpiece

What can i say? It's setona sensei work, which means it's a masterpiece, i just love the way things were developed. How kyouichi started to trust imagase and feel confortable around him, without being paranoic about what imagase could think about him. I think kyouichi couldn't trust in anybody up until he met imagase, that's why his relationships didn't work, because he was used to put a wall between his true feelings and his behaviour. I think it's so well written and well drawn, it' so hard to find something like this nowaday </3

Wonderfully the author Wilkins welcomes us back to another sequel to the series that already enjoyed from the first season or first volume I mean. I really liked it how the author really try to tackle the point of being a man or basically falling in love with the same gender as you versus somebody who is not into somebody like you or someone of the same gender. This sequel further goes down the line of they're tough and sad relationship that really I can really relate to in my opinion. It sad but that's what makes this manga series very powerful my opinion and I hope I get to add it to my collection one dayo

This was surprisingly good. The whole ride was filled with angst, but it was an angst I could sympathize with. A man who is constantly drifting and another man who is hopelessly in love with someone after experiencing all that was offered. These two combined together makes a rocky relationship that will inevitably explode, but if we look deeper, these two actually complement each other and give one another an anchor. <3

review of a guy

I enjoyed this manga, as much a heterosexual guy could enjoy a gay manga.

I see only women in the comment section praising it, and i can understand why they give this high ratings. The author is also a women and either she doesn't know any gay men, or she's just giving her women readers what she thinks they like.

But let me just tell you there's no way a man would act as whiny as Imagase does, it's biologically impossible, he would need to take feminine hormones to reach that level. I doubt there are even many women like that.

Don't get me wrong, men cry, get angry, beg and so forth, but they're practical and eventually take action, make tough decisions, calculated decisions. Watch Modern Family if you want to see realistic gay men.

So yeah, i enjoyed the manga despite the block of text on every page and the gay sex (which i skipped as much as possible) but it's in no way perfect.

First i was annoyed with sempai and his indecisiveness. It wasn't even because he was straight. Then I was annoyed with Ima because he started acting up when sempai was finally getting his act together. Gold star for him because I didn't think he could do it. No he gets a thumbs up, gold stars are for me. But in the end they make it to a somewhat happy ending.

Gripping. Dramatic. Bittersweet.

The manga is well written and well drawn and the plot is just absolutely wonderful. The characters grow and evolve as the manga progresses and you can't help but relate to their feelings and struggles because they feel so real and believable. It's also philosophical to a certain extent as the characters try to sort out their emotions and feelings and try to understand and find meaning in their life.

It's a story that pulls at your heartstrings and makes you feel.
