Not for me

Despite the high rating the manga has, I have to say that it's not for me, because I don't like it at all. There's just something (the characters and their behavior, the "plot"😉 that rubs me the wrong way. The first volume of any manga should be the one that catches your interest and makes you read on, but after reading a volume of this manga it feels like a waste of my time. I've read many manga titles over the years, so admittedly I'm a bit picky about the quality of anything I read now. For someone new to manga, it might be interesting, but personally I wouldn't recommend it, there are far better titles out there.
Totally Worth the Read!!

I totally fell in love with this from the very first chapter. It immediately grabbed my attention and had me laughing out loud to the point that my roommate through her remote at me and anger at 3 a.m. the story is about a teenage girl who sees people's futures with a single touch and she has come to grips with the fact that she can help people with. Meeting a boy with the ability to see the past was something that she never thought would happen and this is what the story actually begins. The fact that there was romance and it was so sweet and there wasn't any kind of corniness but instead something so realistic that could happen to any teenage girl aside from the fact that they both can read a person's past and future of course LOL. This story was greatly written considering the topic. The fact that it kept my attention throughout the whole story from chapter 1 to chapter 40 made it that much more of a great experience to read. This author has talent and I recommend this to anyone looking for a good Shoujo story with some paranormal and Supernatural. The fact that it had many chapters made this a top rating for me. So go ahead, give it a shot. I guarantee you won't regret it!!!!
Such a wonderful supernatural romance

I absolutely loved every character, well except Namiki, that douche. Though I will say...

I felt really bad for him the way his family treated him. He didn't deserve that and then they had the audacity to think that he hated them. If he did, I wouldn't be surprised considering how they treated him and then they were the ones trying to play the victims. At least his mother told him she knew she was a terrible mother. I kinda wish it had shown him get together with that president girl. It was pretty clear they liked each other in the end.
Not enough plot for 9 volumes

Somehow this manga doesn't seem to be character-driven. They are just not memorable enough.
And the plot only shines in last volumes.
It has it moments but it should be shorter.

Mekakushi no Kuni is, in my opinion, the masterpiece of Tsukuba Sakura. It manages to be inspiring and heartwarming and real despite its ESP premise. The characters are moving and experience tragedy and growth, inviting a non-superficial experience for the reader. This manga is one of the few that I can re-read time and time again, and I do--every couple of years since I was 13. It just doesn't get old. It is utterly sweet, utterly heartbreaking, and utterly perfect.
I LOVE IT!~

arou and kanade just make my heart skip a beat I love this series, and I reread it too. The art is adorable and gorgeous. I just can't help but love TSUBAKA SAKURA's art work.
This series just makes a smile appear, and i would recommend anyone to read it unless you're a smut fan, haha sorry theres nothing like that in here...
It's a very innocent manga and you really feel for the characters. Give it a chance! I'm sure you'll grow to love it

Like *some* of the people out there, I find this manga... well... boring. It has nice people on it and the ESP thing is interesting, but, meh, it's just BORING nevertheless. Maybe, it's not for me lol

Penguin revolution was way better (despite it's ending). This manga was just so boring. Yes, it's "supposedly" touching and what not, but it's just so slow and...well...boring. I could not bring myself to finish this manga. The characters were pretty bland too. There was nothing in particular that drew me into this manga. If you really have nothing else to read, then read this manga, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

I love the romantic fantasies, and this is definitely one of the better ones. Occasionally a little slow at first, but it makes up for it by carefully developing the characters and plot in a realistic and interesting way. The romance is sweet but not contrived, sincere and pure without being ridiculous, and it occasionally makes you want to really cry for the characters-but doesn't hit you in the face with overly tragic past after tragic past. And while the main characters have powers, they choose to use and develop them in their own ways, much the way real people would use them or choose not to use them. They don't all have hero complexes and try to save the world; they do the best they can with their own lives and problems, and sometimes we the readers are rewarded with a bit of suspense and a surprising twist or two in the use of the power. Toward the ending it really had me eagerly turning pages, and while I wish there was more after the climax, I was satisfied enough I didn't feel like storming the author's house and giving her an earful in English, like I would like to do with some series authors. The art is also very beautiful and there is a delicate sense of detail in the character's faces and hands.
