WTF IS THIS SHIT
SO MUCH FUCKING MANGA LOGIC GOING ON IT'S LIKE A SPANISH SOAP
ok, there's 4 stories, and the last one was fucking weird as fuck, so I looked at the manga-fox forums
If someone talks about a story like THIS (spoilers about the last stories coming)
"Remember when she kept saying that, 'She didn't want to melt' or something like that?! She was talking about her heart! She didn't want anything but to give her son her heart. So she kinda 'preserved' herself for him! OMG!! I just got that!! Wow, that's sad...*cries*"
SO IT LITERALLY BEING A "LKE IF U CRI EVRYTIME" story
Premise of the story, spoiler again:
"the girl was his mother and she gave him her heart by killing herself in the refrigerator or something"
...............................................
I died
I am ded now
This is the only review I've ever put on here but i had to cus this one literally killed me.

All four stories are great. This anthology is much better than the mangaka's other one, Bus Hashiru. I felt emotionally connected and cared. I liked that the oneshots were varied in topics. We got mutual liking, the transition between childhood friends to liking, a couple rekindling after living years together, and a son rediscovering purpose and meaning through his birth mother.

I loved this! The first one was great, I loved the interchanging perspectives of the characters, and they are both so oblivious. The rest were also really good and the last was rather sad. The art was lovely too. I absolutely recommend it.

I loved the first two oneshots, but I was left kind of unsatisfied by the last two...I really love the art style though.
It really is a bittersweet collection.

Sahara Mizu-Sensei doesn't disappoint! I've read several of her works, and she never let's down on a good, sweet story. Best syrup ever.
First story~ though it was beautifully expressed, I was a bit... Well... "Ehhh" about the ending because there was so much momentum of heart-wrenching sweetness between Kanou and Akino then when the final stage is set, it's more comedic than bittersweet. It felt like it just didn't belong. But whatever, the story makes up for it; super cute and heart-warming.
Second Story~ people who know me well should know I'm very much against shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, etc., but really, this story doesn't only depicts homosexual relationships; it represents all of us. One time or another, there's always going to misunderstandings but we have to work through those times, and that's exactly what this story is trying to say.
Third Story~ adorable, and like almost all of Sahara-sensei's works, relatable. We all go through that phase where you feel as though it's just different, but thanks okay because change happens. I liked this story especially because I can connect with the characters. Oh and because there are just so many doki doki moments<3
Fourth Story~ Memorable. It's not your typical love story, and I love atypical love stories. You'll be surprised how the story unfolds and keeping up with the basic theme of the volume, it's unbelievably bittersweet. I can't say it's relatable though, but who cares, I was satisfied and impressed.
A great volume overall. It's not for everyone with it's simple, slow flow, but definitely a must-read for those who enjoy relatable stories that target the heart.

this is hands down my most favorite collection of oneshots, ever.
i keep coming back to the first story because it's so sweet and cute and poetic all at once. probably my most favorite romance oneshot of all time. i always cry when i read the second and third stories since i've been in similar situations in my life and they really hit home for me. the final story is really sad, though i found i couldnt' relate to it as much as the other stories. beautiful nonetheless. truly a great collection of stories. highly recommended!

OMG This manga was really really good. All the oneshots were so special. The last story broke my heart though. At first I didn't get it but then I read these lines that were vertically written and then I started sobbing

Gorgeous, potent and absolutely wonderful! The art is beautiful, and the stories are well-paced and well worth your time to read. Goodness, I'm going to see if I can buy a copy of this somehow.

The first three stories were already very good but the fourth one really got me. The ending totally hit me by surprise and I couldn't avoid getting emotional. So I started crying, which almost never happens with me. SAHARA Mizu's other manga Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan also hit me like that.
So yeah, I definitely recommend reading this manga. And if you haven't done it yet, read the other one, too.
Oh and I forgot to mention: The art definitely isn't as messy as you would suspect from the cover. The art is really nice!

i don't usually enjoy one-shots as much as long ones, simply cos they, well, are one-shots and don't give me enough time to enjoy the characters long enough.
in this case, i felt the pacing of the stories were jus right(although i would still have loved to see some of the characters go on, hehe.. but no biggie complaints here). And i enjoyed them too, cos they were pretty realistic and reminded me of my younger school uniform days ^_^;; (gosh i sound so old). <_<
The romance here is subtle(keyword here), and not over the top omg only in your dreams -_-|| i find it sweet, as it had the feeling that it can totally happen in real life, somewhere, to someone. im the type who particularly subscribes to the notion that love doesn't have to be showy, but at your own pace, showing to each other you care for them, in little ways and in little things(it is so much harder to maintain such things consistently, rather than jus buying a bouquet of roses that anybody with money can do). Which is probably why the subtlety gets to me.
i likey.
