I wanted to enjoy it but I seriously can't stand Hana character 😭 I skipped everything with her from the first chapter she appeared + if she is that PERFECT and capable to survive, whole arashi prince syndrome to save her ass is another stupid shit to their nonsense love story lol
She is so boring and I seriously don't like any other teams expect team summer B, aka the most interesting and relatable team, bunch of supposed failure ppl. I only getting bored by Arashi and his lovesick overdramatic ott nonsense in team summer B lol
Yeah I like natsu character the most + Semimaru is funny af, his reactions to everything is a mood maker 😂 + Aramaki is a sweetheart too.

Ending was disappointing too , especially Arashi and Hana love was so forced in the whole story , some stupid fairytale I hate the most.
Another disappointment is how author solve nothing in the end , she keeps dragging it but seems can't think about a good ending.

If u stand weird art and a story with thousands characters shifting left and right + sci-fi, this one is for u.

And for the ppl who comparing it to Basara , Basara is a complete overrated trash if u ask me so yeah this is the best work of this overrated author.

Amazing, intriguing and memorable manga

It is a must read.
I know it's an old manga and the art might be a major turn off but not to worry because you would eventually pass that because you would be focusing more on the story instead and forget about the art. What I mean is you would grow accustomed to it.
I was totally absorbed with the reading and constantly on edge to know what would happen next.
So far no other manga with similar trope can top this.

Also, there is an anime for this series created by Netflix and I'm totally disappointed how the anime doesn't do justice to this great series. I wish they could remake it.

Greatest manga ever

Well, it is very hyperbolic but I'm just so pumped throughout the whole reading, I read this in around 2 days. If you like romance, you will love this, if you like survival, you will love this, if you like adventure, you will love this, if you like well rounded strong characters, you will love this. This manga is perfect for me. But it might not be another person's cup of tea because of the art. How do I say....its a bit hazy and sketchy. It invoke a lot of 'emotions' but not 'reality'.

As I said, the characters are all well rounded and strong. ALL of them. And they are not the same at all in what is their strength or their base character, it's their strength in doing their best to survive. Don't look at our MC initial blunders, she forge head on and that's why I love her.

It's still an entertaining read!

It's good for the most part, except for the the last few chapters where the manga becomes sappy (You get a life lesson! You get a life lesson! Life lessons for everyone!!). Characters that were seemingly more complex at the start, become more generic in the manga's conclusion. In spite of this, the plot, and character dynamics, are still a bold attempt by the mangaka, that succeeds.

thought provoking aside from the end

Really nice world settings and moral and philosophical questions through the chapters. Aside from the last 10 or 20, where all it becomes a "oh no, we have more problems of the same type of before" and every time is a rush against the clock that becomes a bit tedious and repetitive.

Charachters that didn't amount to much during the previous 100+ chapters - aside from Natsu that takes like 20 pages to reflect on the fact that now she is improved and finally discovered that her hands have fingers, or that she can breathe or that she can open her eyes and such trivial stuff (in comparison to other characters) - and now they want to preach something important but they way they preach it keeps being pathetic, as they speak from a high horse (like I am doing) without being even able to ride an horse.

If one takes those 10-20 chapters as a side story, the rest is really nice, with a lot of open questions like: what happened to the rest of the shelters? What happened to team winter? How much time passed from the disaster? And so on.

One of many masterpieces authored by Tamura Yumi

If you haven't read it, read it until the end of volume 5. If you don't like it, maybe it's not for you.

For many readers, it may be difficult to get the appeal of this manga due to the slow setup and unusual art style. But, once you understand the appeal, you will get hooked.

While the plot is great, the main appeal of this manga is the character development. The author really knows how to portray such a deep emotion of her characters. The emotions range from love, hatred, spite, guilt, fear of inadequacy, loneliness, etc.

Have Faith in My Review

7 Seeds is a masterpiece. You might think that this is just another manga about apocalypse and action, but this manga is more than that. This manga is about humanity through and through.

The characters are magnificently portrayed by Tamura Yumi that I dare say they were real people and she wrote this manga based on them. Each of the character has their own equally interesting story, thus the narrative is told from multiple characters' point of view. Some of the characters may be not into your liking, however they will grow as you read, eventually you will find yourself sharing the same sentiment as the characters and you will understand why they behave the way they are. They are relatable. I have to say that the character development is exceptional. However, there is no set main character which might be confusing to some.

About the storyline, I am still in awe by how the mangaka managed to wrote something so complex but at the same time is so simple like this. Everything about this manga is well-planned, as if you were reading a historical book or a documentation of real event. Since this manga is a science-fiction, there is a lot of unbelievable stuff at first, but do not drop the book yet, it will all make perfect sense in the end.

I had hoped the mangaka would speed up the story, yet when I reread the manga I realized that there is no part that could be omitted. Many people complained about the art style, but personally, I do not mind it.

I highly recommend 7 Seeds. This manga is deep but not hard to comprehend, perfect for young adult looking for something to read after work.

Stupid dialogue (and translation), ugly art (and scans), boring characters, no end in sight.

I've read about 2 volumes of this trash and it does not get any better. If you can stomach all of the above this is a manga that will keep you busy for a while.

Here's a quote to sum up my feelings:
"Why do I need to do this?"
"Shut up and just do it"

This whole ordeal feels rather uninspired and if what is set-up in the second volume true there's nowhere to advance the story to.

Best Manga I Have Ever Read

I recommend it highly. The more you read, the more it grips you. It will make you laugh and cry and become more invested in it's characters and their survival than you would have thought possible. Genuinely, this is my favorite series of all time, and the Manga I find myself thinking about the most. I can't wait for the Netflix adaptation of this series coming out in a month from the time of me writing this!
