This lady could quickly become one of my favourite mangaka! If you like Shin Mizukami, you'll most likely have no squick for this violent non-con fantasy lass as well.

Along side the non-con, this time she's added a lot of gore too. Her art is absolutely gorgeous: darkly breathtaking, vividly suspenseful, and emotionally rich. The story set up is fascinating and steadily delivered with rage, fear, angst, frustration (all those dark kinksters would love it!), but then it quickly deteriorates; It could have been so much more.

At the outset, characters full of multi-dimensional personae that have evolved through serious life challenges like neglect, abandonment, betrayal, and other fears are dished up. She adds in conflict and angst with someone that could possibly heal them, and then--BLAM!--she consistently ends abruptly and superficially with mere write-off smut of the most nonsensically connected kind. Even with fantasy, I want some real person development.

Because I think she has the ability to carry through (accompanied by her deliciously vibrant, bold and unique art) and make something so much more memorable, something that fully explores a characters development, even if it is over-the-top dramatic and dark (or especially because it is thus so!), I end up re-reading and re-reading, but ultimately disappointed. She is so very talented but sells herself short. Give her some more pages to expand out her characters' development, make her do a little more research on long-term healing responses (it doesn't have to be totally realistic, but a least a little grounding please!), let her keep her melodrama and dark kink perversions, and she'd be in my top recommendation lists. She hasn't arrived, but I've surely got my eye on her.

I'm giving it a 6.5/10 since there were hot scenes, the art was great, and I really liked the horror theme. But:

Actually good, but I still consider it below average. The mangaka didn't really explain anything. If the supernatural aspect of it and even the first uke's personal life and family had more depth then this yaoi could've been something. But as it is, the first couple was annoyingly cliche; you're supposed to feel sorry for the uke but he was just another more than typical mary sue who got bullied and couldn't protect himself and cried a lot and whose family also hated him (author gives no reason at all) but has a pure heart. I liked the second couple more.

HIGASHINO You sensei is good at dark, fantasy stories like this. Actually, I like Shirogane x Okamoto's story better than the main story. Oh, the art here takes my breath away! This is probably her best manga so far.

Wheres the rest?! Dropped? Unfinished? Argh! XD Damn i was really starting to get into this manga and it left off on a cliff hanger too! Ok so its not the best or most logical story by any terms but it was interesting, has the weird/unexpected supernatural element and some really interesting plot developments. I was very much getting addicted. I also love the art, the mangaka is slowly becoming one of my favourites for her stories and art combinations, really no complaints at all. I really hope this is going to be finished though, i need to know what happens rawr.

With a little more cleaning up, I think the second couple can be another full fledge manga on its own. Just make the seme a little bit less murderous. I found them super interesting and was actually just starting to really get into the manga. I like the hard headed uke amd oblivious to love seme. I wanted to see how they were both going to change each other as they fall in love (>~<) The supernatural aspect of the manga is very interesting yet they don't go into much detail and the character are still just starting to show the surface of who they are and their background.

Found on Tieba a very steamy chapter about Shirogane x Okamoto, not sure if it was just a one-shot or spin-off. Hope to see it translated as well! I felt they never had a proper ending

It is really good. But still I wish sensei could explain why the uke's family behave like that. Of course the sex scenes are EXTREMELY, SUPER, OVER THE EDGE HOT! And I wish there could've been a continuation! :-) ♥♥♥

it is a good manga i think actually i dont like first story uke and seme not cup of my tea but like second couple.And story is a bit awkward mangaka didnt explain what the semes are? We don't know.What is sensei actually?

I think it planned as a oneshot because chapter 1 is the end of it.

I want see Shirogane x Okamoto more it wasn't enough :/

The stories are dark and brutal...
Violence, force, rape, tentacles and demons, it's a yaoi in the horror/fantasy genre and for fans of such, it's definitely worth the read!

If you are looking for a light read, cute characters blushing, romance or anything like that, read something else!
