i really hated the girl in the beginning, but as i continued reading, i found the whole story so amazing! it's just so deep, not like other manga that are pretty shallow sometimes. this is something deeper, and it's amazing. when Kawai started singing the song, Amazing Grace, it really rang in my ears. amazing manga, two thumbs up!!!!!!!

I really love this series, from the summary I read about it, it seemed interesting, it's not like normal shoujo, I like how things are developing. I really like the main character, shes really different from typical shoujo girls. I like how Maria and Shin's relationship is developing also, I hope it develops deeper, though, reading this series, it's certainly unpredictable and I'm guessing it will take a different turn from what I'm expecting. =] Its a must read!!

although this may appear similar to any typical shoujo storyline at surface glance: pretty female protagonist draws the interest of two good-looking male protagonists, and foreshadowing of an inevitable love triangle between the three -- thus far -- this manga has shown that it is anything but.

The main lead, Maria, is an extremely strong, perceptive, and intelligent female. The two main male leads, Yuusuke and Meguro serve as foils for one another, amplifying the dichotomy between their characters (but they may not be as different as they first appear). The first few chapters have done an excellent job setting up the rest of the series by revealing just enough character-development to hint at an angst-filled background for all three characters -- but not too much -- keeping the mystery intact.

It took me a long time to finally start reading this manga and I'm really glad that I've picked it up. If you like strong female leads and a storyline that doesn't just involve: girl likes boy, boy likes girl, girl and boy get together, you should definitely try this out!

Wow, I must say this is the first shoujo manga series I have read that is actually interesting, comedic and concurrently, provides a deep meaningful insight. The artwork is lovely, the storyline is proving to be fairly interesting and I cannot wait to see how the relationship between the three main characters (so far) will develop. The aspect which separates this series from all your other typical shoujos is the strong sad indictment on society and its reflection of the pretentious aspect of humanity veiled under an idealistic exterior. All in all, a fantastic series definately worth reading. Kudos to the author smile

It really made an impact on me, I love people who aren't dense and can draw own conclusions. The storyline is progressing well and believable. it's not like other mangas, the impossible or the most unthinkable happend in every chapter.
Also, the artwoork really is great, you can clearly see that Kawai Maria is beautiful. ( I don't like mangas where everyone look the same but the author writes she's beautiful in a box on the page. )

Also! I read the manga while listening to Amazing Grace - Leann Rimes. THAT was stunning! It totally blew me away!

A Great Manga.

Really, it's not often people see smart independant girls with attitude as the lead in shoujo manga. Maria's prone to speaking out rudely with whatever's on her mind since she seems to be able to read people very easily. Plus, it's cool that she's the 'subtle and intelligent, yet cold' type of person.

People also often misunderstand her actions and see her as the villain since she doesn't really know how to behave normally. This causes alot of trouble and comedic scenes between her and and the other characters.

What's better is that there's a possible triangle romance between her and 2 other hot guys, each with completely opposite personalities. All said, this is one of my most favourite shoujo manga (because of all, once I got into shounen-ai /yaoi, it became harder to enjoy shoujo like before bigrazz).

So I've only read the three chapters scanlated by Serenus Dreamers but I've already gone ahead and searched out the raws for this series, mostly because the artwork is just unbelievably pretty. I usually go for a cleaner and more simple style but the art here is striking and well-thought out particularly Maria's character design but I'll get to that later. As for the story? It more than matches the quality of the art. This series has one of the most unusual and compelling main characters in shoujo that I've come across. She's perceptive and intelligent and I love the way she just cuts through people with her insight. She speaks up for herself, not in the over the top way some mangakas seem to think qualifies for "strong" these days. She isn't kicking people and yelling, she just tells them very simply the truth about themselves and their actions. However, she also comes down quite hard on herself and sincerely wishes to change. This leads to quite a few hilarious attempts at befriend her classmates who have of course already made up their minds to dislike her.

Maria alone is worth reading the series for but the supporting characters are pretty interesting as well! Shin and Yuusuke, the two male (I'm assuming) possible love interests (hey it's listed as romance!) are pretty intriguing and funny. I'm thinking Shin is the intended love interest but I find Yuusuke just a bit funnier and more interesting (lovely transform? WIN! and Maria takes his advice right away!) Even the bullies have an interesting take to them.

To finally end this review, I'd say that just with the three chapters, this series is already a standout among most other shoujo with the storytelling, depth of characterization and artwork. I've got high expectations for this series!
