I loved this. I stand firm with other people's comments, but of course, faults always hit the hardest. I want to point out that some elements would just fade in and out like the manga could only focus on one thing at a time. For example, a great deal of attention would be placed on Kira's ability to draw and her art p, but that aspect of her life just faded out and only briefly returned in the end. Her fear of boys was briefly mentioned at the beginning, but faded out for a decently long time.

However, as I said, the manga was still awesome. I could complain about the ending, but it wasn't bad... On a further note, it was good enough that I finished the manga in one day...

Edit: Nine months later, I have no idea what this manga is about. I don't remember it at all....

Wow so i cant believe that drama i watched when i was 12 that talked about sex and stuff was based off a manga. never woulda guessed. They had it on LA 18 i think.

I absolutely love this series! And, while, yes, it had plenty of drama, I agree with the comments about how the serious storylines were balanced out nicely by some very light-hearted, funny moments. Overall, the completed series left me feeling very satisfied and content.

Do you get me when I say: 'too dramatic'. It's like the world revolves around the two main characters, everything that happens surprisingly manages to have an impact on the main character in one way or another.

Loved the plot, the whole manga was very well done... (fangirl moment) i totally love Rei's character/personality... makes you wonder if he was based on a real person...

Anybody who reads shojo HAS to read this!! This is an absolute classic, I mean, Souryou Fuyumi is definitely a mangaka one should keep track of. Although the manga is a bit old, the art improves through the volumes. MARS is just an awesome manga! Its got everything that drama asks for, it doesn't exactly start off in the best way, more like a pathetic shojo story, but as you read on the plot becomes more complicated and twisted as you get to know the characters more. It's actually pretty dark, at some points even a bit depressing/upsetting, it deals with some sensitive issues. But its a manga I would definitely recommend for people to read. And Rei is just soooo cute X3.

it was incredible- an amazing read. the characters are so well developed it's as if it's based off of real stories.. of course if that were the case, the models would have lived some demented lives...

the plot is so great that it sends chills down your spine; it's not your everyday shoujo, but that's what's so great about it.. slice of life indeed.

This was like my second manga I just loved it. The story is pretty good and the drawings the chick makes I just fell in love with them. The mother and the child its just beautiful

I really loved it! I thought it touched on important and real themes...

this is a great manga! Not to corny and not too draggy....exciting to the very end!
