In the beginning it was fine, a nice cute little story. And I adored Usui and Misaki was also kind of cute too. But somewhere around the middle Usui warped and now I can't stand his attitude. I tried twice to pick this series back up, but then his attitude just put me off

So if you like the cliche mean-for-no-reason and possessive guy in your shoujo, I suggest you pick this up and run with it. As for me I'll be ditching it.

i liked it to begin with because its funny and smart. i'd braced myself against the dissapointment when the "girl who thinks too highly of her abilities fails and needs the bad*ss lead male to save her" moment came around, and i was amazed, excited, thrilled (insert positive adjective here) when the lead female was bad*ss enough to take care of her own d@mn self.

i do admit the master/sub aspect intrigues me- understanding the willing submission of a proud female and the care a master gives his sub. and this story offers characters credible enough in their intelligence and common sense to allow for me to take the subject seriously. of course, that isn't the main focus of the story, though i see aspects of it poking through.

Completly agree with Rainy_x_DaySs ..

Pro: Nice art works, story is funny sometime
Con: NOTHING happens after chapter 10, it's just boring. The main male character is a insensitive annoying bastard.

It starts out very good then everything just goes flat, no development, the stories consist solely of the guy harassing Kaichou, she like it and annoyed by it at the same time. The harassment jokes were funny the first 5 times but then it's just more of the same thing.
Recomend the first 10 chapters. After that drop it and find something else to read.

Honestly the art is beautiful, the main characters are funky, but... it goes nowhere, and doesn't even make an attempt at breaking the status quo. This is Special A all over again!

i was disappointed with this manga!! Sorry to those Kaichou wa maid-sama fans >_< at first i loved it ,then around chapter 6 i realized it was pretty boring i mean it was already established that she liked him and he liked her too. There was no development in there relationship and i have no clue why she liked him besides the fact that he's like her savior in tough situations and he's hot? o_O it is enjoyable to read if your into comedic-love with some steamy situations i guess,but overall this manga in my opinion isn't that great of a choice if you want to read something that will move the heart.

well FINALLY theres some conflict in it >_> and now there actual development in takumi and misaki's relationship. chapter 23 ftw. well, it took a while but now its getting better (finally after a bunch of chapters full of...you get my point XD) so I suggest that if you were not impressed with it before then the recent chapters could probably make you happier. just a suggestion. Very impressed with the plot twist at the moment, good job.

if you really think about ir, its already 3 volumes and all you c is chapters about how strong the kaichou is , come on theres really no plot, no character growth nor plot twist nor or anything, just individual chapters. its okay for the first chapter cause its like an introduction of the characters, in this case its like the introduction goes on and on and on and on. its a great original idea that its beeing torn to pieces little by litle by the author, if this keeps on, my rate of this series will also keep going down until i loose faith and stop reading

I have never laughed so much reading a manga. It's not about the art (I've seen my share of great artwork, but this is pretty), but the female character isn't those annoying, whiny types or the pushover, idiotic types. Sure, sometimes the "perfect" at everything gets on your nerves like most manga, but I'd give this a 10/10 just for the humor, art, and characterization.

I totally recommend this manga to ALL shoujo manga maniacs(ehm..just like me)
This manga story is unique with the cosplay cafe and all...the uniforms is absolutely beautiful plus there are always different kind of themes like sentai(like power rangers), little sister, guy and I'm sure a lot will be coming more...The main girl, I like her from the start!! she's spunky, pretty, powerful and the the most unique thing is that she somehow prefer to side with the girls..This is the first time for me....Also, don't forget about the art in this manga....it's perfectly divine....the mangaka really likes to draw laces(aah~..my weakness) and cool clothes/uniforms especially the gothic style maid uniform...the mangaka sure know how to make me go kya kya towards the guys...She draw them looking so devilishly handsome especially Usui-kun(kkyyaaa xD) In fact, all the characters she draw are really good.....The humor is also a wonderful add to this manga....It always makes me laugh out loud(yeah....alone in my room....my sis said that I'm crazy..ahaha) I'm positively sure that I'll never get tired of the comedy..the way Usui treat Misaki...aahhh~ utterly romantic and make my heart stop
I think that this is the 1st manga I'm totally desperate for the updates or if there's none(hope not)....I'll even spend my money to buy it!! even if it's expansive(about 10USD) and I've to ride an aeroplane...akhaha

i love the comedy in it...i love the relationship between the two characters
they're both so unique! the heorine's not a push over but she's strong and can totally kick but if she wanted too.

i totally recommend this to anyone!
i can't wait for the next chapter!
