My favourite manga
The storyline is a page turner. It is one of the best storyline out there and will have you keep reading until you are done with the manga. The plot is intense and it'd leave you mindblowing at the thought process of the mangaka. The battle of wits were so well done that its more action packed than any action manga out there. But, as many pointed out, the manga looses its appeal at that 'certain' point. If it wasn't so, this manga would easily one of the best one out there. (it still is one of the best, though)

I loved death note and was extremely addicted until (you all know what) happened. I find that the rest just became really boring. I couldn't will my self to read it anymore. don't get me wrong I read a bunch of chapters after this incident but it just wasn't the same and it became really boring and pointless.
i hated this manga i can not see why it is so popular. at first i liked the concept but the thing i hated was the main character his attitude was one of the things that turned me away from this manga. if you like it more power to you but i for one hate it.
"Death Note" is WAYYY better than any detective series out there (although it's not one). The battle between Raito & L is truly captivating, but too bad that it kind of went downhill later on. Somehow, I lost my interest after reading chapter 56 (or around that) because, well, you-know-what. Nevertheless, it's still strongly recommended if you wanna see REAL battle between REAL geniuses. ^o^
Don't know what to say about the art. It's so different from "Hikaru no Go": much more mature, realistic, and, of course, gorgeous.

Try this series it has wonderful artwork and a great plot
The art is cool, the concept is original and the story on a whole was great.. really great
some parts were dragged on a bit so if you're reading in a rush it'll seem slow but its really very interesting
ending is abrupt, but in a way thats the beauty of it... though i wish there was an epilogue

Yes, I'm going to be one of those people who say "it was really good until [edit by mod,please do not spoil...], and then it goes downhill." Well, actually, the second half wasnt that bad. I was just discouraged to continue reading after the event. But the beginning; wow. It's so different... The main character's an anti-hero, and you have the "good guys" (L and the police) after him. Certainitly gets points for originality. At least try the first part of the manga.
I mean it just has a good beginning.

Awesome plot setting and byplay between characters. While not action-oriented, still interesting for those who like dramas. Good story, not much else. But the story is good, lol...
