I love this one so much! The overall story is somewhat like "Perfect girl evolution" but i think it is lighter and cuter. The girl is also cuter and more adorable.I like the boy and the friends. A must read!

Its a great read. The blossoming romance between Sawako and Kazeyaha is the embodiment of innocence. If you are into romance thats sugary and sweet.

Guys, I can understand why some of you would say it's a rip-off of PGE. It's because you're not even reading. =_=
I mean, COME ON. This is way WAY different than PGE. For one, PGE is more on the wacky comedy side, but this one is more on the lighthearted heartwarming *insert more compound-word adjectives along the same lines here* side.
What's more, this HAS A PLOT. And a fairly progressing one at that. I'm not saying PGE doesn't have a plot (well, if it didn't segue too much to other stuff, then what's left of the shredded plot would also progress well), but EACH CHAPTER I've seen in this story is actually essential to its plot, a fact that PGE notably does not exhibit.
I don't think it's right to judge this story to be terrible just because you THINK you've seen something like it before and you THINK it's a rip-off. (Don't get me wrong, I also like PGE and I'm not putting it down, but geez some people should really think before they go and accuse stories of being rip-offs. Pissed me off.)
And so to end this very long comment, I would like to say that this story is at the top of my reading list. And it's a VERY long reading list, if I may add. The characters are all incredibly lovable, even though I think the main girl lead has a very ideal personality. I definitely recommend this to anyone who would like a very heartwarming read.

I wish people would stop comparing this to other shoujo (and even shounen, for whatever reason) titles. Creating a completely original story now is harder than it sounds.
Kimi ni Todoke is a cute and refreshing manga. The premise of the story is similar to Wallflower, but the key difference lies with the protagonist's differing personalities. Unlike others in her position, Sawako does not have a traumatic past, and does not keep others at a distance/ignores everyone/emos in a corner. She actually makes an effort to make friends with her peers, one of the nice qualities about her.
Kazehaya is, just as she said, 100% refreshing. He's cute and fully capable of charming the shirt off someone's back, but not in a lewd sense, jeez. It's easy to see why he's popular, and not only for his boyish good looks. xD

Makes me sad people don't like this. I find it cute and sweet, and throughout reading it neither PGE or Angel Densetsu came to mind. Its not anything extraordinary that I can put into words, but even with all the manga that I've read, this one is always at the top of my rereading list (only 4 chapters out though ^^;). It is really light and 'refreshing'.
I suggest people try it out, and don't compare it. ;)

Reading this manga really makes me happy!! The characters are really cute~ Sawako is a strong girl! Overall, the story is heartwarming and refreshing. ^^
I had high hopes for this; sadly they were taken by the neck, choked, strung up on a string, and stabbed into non-existence.
Its pretty much a cheap/classic shojo ripoff/version of Perfect Girl Evolution, but minus everything I enjoyed about it. Sigh..

Pretty good so far, a little underwhelming since it seems to take from Angel Densetsu but toned down. Romance is sweet though, but compared to the execution and characters in Angel Densetsu it just isn't as good. May give it a higher rating as it continues but it might turn into the typical shoujo cliche.
Though this is just a comparison with a Shounen manga; take it however you like.

This is a really good story. I wanted to continue reading it...It's funny and refreshing. i'm looking forward for future releases as whindel_21 says..hihihi...XD
I need more, its like a drug! So good. It's so easy to understand Sadako!
