I haven't read anything by him that I didn't like. When I read Beast Master, I thought that this must be the pinnacle of rom-com shoujo. Everything from now on will be a disappointment.
I was wrong. Dengeki Daisy is by far a superior manga to Beast Master, and there is no other series that I have read so many times. Any words that I could possibly use to describe it are horribly inadequate. All I can say is that I hope it goes on for a billion volumes. XD

LOL. i love it. enough said, read it for yourself. The art, storyline, and overall, GREAT! The heroine of this shoujo is not a usual dumbass one, but has a strong character, with all she's been through. Kurosaki is HILARIOUS. love them both. a MUST read!

wow when i read the first chapter i was completely hooked, and when the scanlator gave out the next three chapters (plus the extra) in the same month i was so excited!! this manga is extremely sweet than any other manga i've ever read. the romance isn't lame either unlike a lot of shoujo mangas.. it's very original. I love this author and all her other stories too!
update: okai I still like Dengeki Daisy but I really hope that it doesn't drag on than it should just because this manga is really popular. I'll still read it but I hope it doesn't get ruined!

I never get tired of this manga! It's so good I can't help but reading the chapters again and again..so much that I've lost count! The art is beautiful, the characters are funny and likeable (especially the girl, I'm tired of weak please-save-me types), and the plot is very interesting. I can't predict what will happen next, and that's very refreshing! And of course, this manga is absolutely hilarious, which is the number one factor I look for in manga! Awesome, incredible, unique- no one word can describe it! My only regret is that I don't think this manga will last too long- about 7 volumes at best. I'll treasure every page. XD
Oh, look, I did a fangirl rant. Anyways, I definitely recommend this manga, give big thanks to the scanlators, and I can't wait for more! And I am seriously hoping this will be published in English; I'd absolutely buy them all!

It seems like not many people comment on this manga. I definitely recommend this manga-especially as someone who is tired of reading about weak, whiny heroines in shoujo manga or heroines. Teru is loyal, level-headed, and respectful. She is a fighter -won't wait to be saved- but on the other hand, she is also a vulnerable human being who wants comfort now that her brother is dead and needs this connection with Daisy. Her determination to not take Daisy's kindness for granted, her trust in him (and in Kurosaki), and her ability to appreciate emotions other than love (she is not looking for high school love like every other shoujo heroine)- really touched me. There were sooooo many times just when I expected a typical shoujo reaction, I was pleasantly thwarted! It will start off on a familiar path- but then veer off a bit. Kurosaki is also a great guy character- he is cool and brash but caring. The manga does have a slightly bittersweet quality to it- Teru and Kurosaki seem to be lonely characters- but overall, the mood is funny and optimistic without being over-the-top. The artwork is also good. At first glance, the art doesn't look cute or detailed enough to be attractive- but if you look closely, the mood of each scene is depicted very well and expressions can be very lifelike sometimes.

And this one is in my top five most favorite ever. She's so wonderful at expressing our most crucial emotions in a valid, wholly believable, wholly real way. Her stories touch my heart in ways that most shoujo- most manga- doesn't. I haven't felt so invested in the ebb and flow of a character's life since Kyoko and Ren of Skip Beat. But all sensei's stories are like that. Simply wonderful.

If you liked Beast Master, you'll LOVE this one! So cute. I love the interaction between the two main characters. You know he'll always be there for her and yet, it seems he's holding himself back as well. I hope it develops more into the relationship you know is there, just below the surface. Past emotions will get in the way, but I'm sure the truth will come out in the end...it always does<3

Seriously, this is my new favourite shoujo (old fave was Kaichou wa Maid-sama)!
First off the art is BEAUTIFUL, you are never left trying to decipher whats what (like what i've found with most shounens) and the guys face still looks beautiful even when he's being super creepy XD
Which leads me to the guyxgirl stuff, VERY cute how they both react to eachother, and how things develop.
Also as well as the romance plot, theres also a mystery in the whole "Who exactly /is/ Daisy?" I dont just mean whats his name and what does he look like Bit by bit you are further enticed as to what actually happened in the part and what is happening now and in the future.
And as a bonus for moi, theres enough danger-enduced drama to keep me satisfied
A MUST read and it definitely deserves the top spot for the Romance genre that it currently holds

Even though the plot isn't amazingly unique, Motomi's execution is pure brilliance. Both of the leads are lovable, and while the story could've easily turned into an angsty emo-fest, it's not and I'm glad for it. It's a lighthearted romantic comedy with just enough drama and suspense to keep me coming for more. The artwork is also rather good.
I highly recommend Dengeki Daisy and also Motomi's other manga- Beast Master.
