Souka and her recently divorced mother move to a new place to start over. In looking for a school to enroll in, Souka decides to leave her preppy, private high school behind and transfers into a technical high school. When I started reading this manga on a different site, I notice something odd... From chapters 1-5 the main character and many others had different names from chatper 6-7; for example, in the begining the main character's name was Hirayama Hayaka and then later on it change to Hirayama Souka. Which is the correct name, Hayaka or Souka!?
This is weird...I've read a different version of this with much better art but the exact same plot line and names...Is there a second one of these or something? I've always thought that the manga was pretty good except it doesn't come out very quickly which sucks. ^_^
Me and my friend think he's the best. The random book pulled out of nowhere, the random band-aid (when he didn't even FIGHT...), wore a shirt to the beach, and he calmly pointed out dragons. In fact... he was calm during the entire thing. Though... he seems kind of frightened whenever something concerns Hayaka...
I couldn't stop laughing... it's really funny! But there isn't much of a plot, and the art isn't too good either...

super cute manga...AND RIIIIIIIILLLLLLLIIIIII funi. tho at the begining the character are a bit fat(no offense) but l8r on its get better rili quikly. Quirky story that most would probably lik.
Totally hilarious, I thought she'd fall in love with the first guy she saw, but I was totally wrong! Light and fluffy, just that kind of romance thing that hits the spot and makes you feel all giggly inside (?)... not in the totally cheesy way.

This series is really fun. I admire and enjoy reading about a character like Hayaka... and as stereotypical as the setup sounds, it's written and plays out really well. Katou is also a funny, refreshing character... that is, he's kinda serious and earnest, but comes off as funny in the situations he's in. Something about him reminds me of Hoshino from Love Roma...
this is actually pretty nice...the way the comedy is setup is refreshing...the way they make it seem like a brother/sister thing is hilarious...love it so far...want more..gimme more...
I always keep a sharp eye out for Banchou type mangas, namely Gokusen, Tokkou Taichou,Love Junky but I am wary about one girl many guys in a school because the girl turns out to be unpleasantly girly, almost nauseatingly so and the main guy is like a pushy uber sexy guy pushing in charm..here its not that, in fact i love the fact that romance isnt even the centre, which is why this is a nice manga to read for those who got sick of gooey sticky shoujos... ............ and o yes, this is not a reverse harem either though she is popular...as the only girl Banchou!

"School gang leader, school gang leader, school gang leader!" So annoying reading this phrase all the time! Just use the Japanese word 'banchou' stupid Esthétique! It's simply common sense. I could speak like this--"The son of my father and mother verbally requested of me an amount of time in which he wished I would spend in a constant state of verbal instruction regarding mathematical techniques deemed valuable to him in regard to his completing an assigned written sheet of mathmatical tasks."--but I would drive those around me crazy! Instead, I say, "My brother asked me to help him with his math homework." Define the word "banchou" and move on!
