I don't know if it's the translation or the novel itself, but my impression of it is not that good. The author is still fumbling about to find the purpose for this work. It doesn't have identity, a thing that distinguishes itself from all the other "Sucked into another world" LNs out there.

There are tons of descriptions of landmarks that you would not care about but when it comes to the important things like character development, it slacks. The MC goes from a newbie magician into an OP one in a chapter or two. There's little common sense in it too. For example; their village is suffering from lack of food variation, only eating stale bread and porridge when there's a forest filled with game to hunt. And when the MC hunts and brings back meat, they all look at him like he's a genius or smth. And then later it was shown that all of them can hunt all along. So why were they restricting themselves with salted porridge in the beginning?

From what I can tell, the author is trying to make this a politically inclined story. Only, he is not good at it. All he ever mentions is "reclamation" "Our family is poor" "Family feud" "Poor knight nobles". Shallow politics. And then he will go on making it about food. It's very random and doesn't have any solid direction.

I just can't continue reading it.

The plot's a little slow at first but it does well by using it to detail the world that the MC is put in. It is refreshing that the story doesn't merely focus on a harem for the OC. Rather, it is limited and only used to detail the social class differences that each character has. The current translations are a little awkward but the story's great plot still comes through. I have high hopes for this!
