How could you guys hate Ryou?

Hes my ideal bf.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He needs so much love that my being with him is not enough, so he have to sleep around (thats reallyyy make him less lonely). Hes an honest guy so he cheated openly (not that I care). He is gentle that he could say anything to harm the girl who verbally assaulting his lover in front of his very eyes (wonder if he has balls). But when it cames to me, he got guts, raped (oh here are the balls) and killed (hes too innocent to know when u kill a person, that person will disappear. I love anyone who treats me this way. I bet my parents who spend through trouble raising me will totally agree to this (can everyone see the sarcasm dripping off from this post?)

Jokes aside. Im horrified to see who this manga can become popular. Its fiction but I cant overlook the fact that it has a very bad message. The author tried to push possessive love to a new level but give us a horrifying criminal story instead.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Dont even say its Akio's fault so not saying "I love u" A guy who cant not be faithful to me just because Im not saying lines like this do not deserve my love. And Ryou expects Akio to love him, yet he did nothing to achieve that (he did the opposite actually).

Sorry, but similar story happens in real life. The guy actually raped and murdered the girl then mutilated her body to put in his house. This is also obsessive love. Do you still think its cute or sweet? The only difference is Akio did not die. Everything works out find since Akio is a freak himself. For a normal person, imagine how horrible her life would have been if she happens to be the object of Ryou's love?
For many comments about its unnecessary to associate with real life. When I said something about I dont like cheating in manga, people always response to me about how "realistic" it is. But when it comes to this, you are telling I dont really need to care about how it is realistically? I felt that when you like a manga, you will find excuse for it or make up flaws of its criticism.
I cant say the story is realistic or not because both characters are not normal. Ryou can be considered a high risk for killing someone (can?t control their temper and keep hurting/beating their lovers/family members) Very dangerous and need to be under care of specialists.
I agree that this story makes in you remember it, but not in a good way, and I'm terrified about how people say its cute or sweet.
Second story is so so.
Third story, even though it was told by the cheater's POV, I still hate him. No one deserves to be treated that way.

Horrifying, and not in a good way

The first story was an utterly disturbing case of domestic violence and emotional abuse posed as a romance. Ryou has so many screws loose, I seriously don't even know where to begin with his issues. He is not suffering from mere abandonment issues, but rather seems mentally ill. Tae was also rather twisted in her verbal abuse towards Akio.

That isn't to say that the story was bad, just incredibly disturbing. The other two stories were much less creepy. I love Madarame Hiro's art style, and her penchant towards clinically insane characters, but this particular story hit a sour note for me. It just couldn't convince me to root for Akio and Ryou's relationship. Rather, I wanted them both to receive extensive counseling.

Overall, I'd say give this volume a miss. Her other stories are much better (especially the Kawaii Akuma series). If you have to read one of the stories in this volume, though, the second one is the best. The third is over too quickly to leave an impression but the second was kind of cute.

i didn't like first story cuz i think seme has personality disorder he always cry like a baby and then you saw him like 'if he doesn't mine i will kill him'' WTF so this story is really unnecessary i think cuz another stories are really cute.

The second story was good...

No, I didn't like the first story. I don't mind reading rape scenes (I'm not saying that I like reading rape scenes, but I'm not bothered by it).
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The way he raped the other was terrible. And the reason even more so. It was his own fault that he stopped seeing him and I know he's bad at saying no, but there's still a limit. And the way uke took it was just so stupid, sign of love by killing his lover? That's stupid.

Anyway, I think the second story was good enough though, I watched the steamy scenes with drama CD, and damn, it was the most intense I've seen in a while (though I've seen much more intense) So my yaoi heart was really satisfied *nodnod*
Though the story wasn't that good or anything, not anything new, you know. But I still enjoyed it.
I didn't like the last story either. Because I don't like unfaithful semes (or ukes). Oh well.
The art is still very good though!

Not that scary, not like what the other say. But i should say it that the very FIRST STORY is so Depresing!!! That moment it's almost make me think to stop reading this manga. But i still persistent and keep reading 'till the ending. And... "yaaayy" No one die!!! biggrin I almost cry of scared if someone die here! And the other, the 2nd couple is interesting! I love their story! And about the 3rd is gloomy-weird-unique. But not bad at all. Just unique. Peace! hehe...
This is good very very good for First manga! Worth to be read. smile

Not for every stomach

The first chapter would have worked very well as a horror story about stalking and co-dependency. It's about the relationship between a doormat and a clingy, violent, adulterous rapist. Sound charming? It's played straight from start to finish, down to the uke thinking that the seme wanting to kill him rather than break up is a sign of deep love.

The other stories were forgettable, but next to the first one that's almost a relief.

The art switches between a freaky mix between chibis and stick figures, and stylish and poetic. Even the stylish and poetic parts weren't appealing to me. I'd say the style was somewhat artsy-fartsy and not hot at all.

There are 3 main stories in this manga. The first one is horrible
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
it involves adultery, and rape, and attempted murder between the lovers. And then the victim blames it on himself. its really not good.
because it really just ignores the horror that happens in the relationship. the second one was cute. the last one...not so cute but wasn't terrible.

this is the first time in a long while that i actually enjoy the story and the characters in a BL. usually i just read it for the sex and nothing more, but this one is actually pretty good. the art is a very big plus, airy and defined it make everything more beautiful.

the first story is excellent. i love the possessive type, but i am always annoyed by the arrogance that come with it. thats why this seme is so perfect to me. yes he is cute but the dangerous, violent, murderous rapist side of him give a sexier edge to it. the first rapist in a long while that i dont hate. i am also not hating the cheating. it is probably because he always make it clear who he really in love with. the uke is also likable. i always hate the pushover cry baby uke but this uke is pretty cool. he is quite level headed and his motherly instinct towards the seme is endearing. this pair is perfect for each other.

the second story is also very cute. it is very simple yet the execution is great. the paneling, the facial expression, the composition, the art, the words...they all fits together. both the characters are likable. i do not get annoyed by the uke's hesitance. the seme's easy going attitude is a good point and he is ever so kind.

the third story is also cute. i always hate arrogant seme, but this seme, though arrogant, is portrayed in a more gentler way, making him likable. the uke is weak, but i like his deep love. i always like conviction in relationships.

all in all, a very good read.

This was freaked me the heck out. I didn't read all the categories, so I missed it - but I don't read stuff with rape. This has that. Just... no. It's too intense for me.

But the art was really beautiful. That's it's good point.

Unlike some of the other readers I really enjoyed the first story. They're perfect for each other in some deranged and twisted way, with Akio being able to withstand all the suffering Ryou put him through. It just works.

I also adore the second story because in comparison to the first one, it's very light and cute. Just your run-off-the-mill BL story about a guy liking a male co-worker.

As for the third story, I was a bit iffy about it.. especially with the that Naoki (?) still thinks that his lover is sleeping around and is okay with it, even though his lover isn't. There's no real resolution compared to the first story but I suppose that's how it's suppose to be.

The art is beautiful too.
