It was absolutely perfect. Beautiful and entertaining. AND I have nothing to complain about. It was what it was. It all fit perfectly together, like a fantastic matching outfit. I may not have liked the shoes personally, but i can't deny that it matched the outfit too well, and nothing else could have taken its place... coughcoughtheendingcoughcough

Artwork and story are amazing, but more suitable for an older audience. Definitely josei, not shoujo.
The ending is too ambiguous and really ruins the feel of the story. Not only are the characters' relationships unclear, but many other questions that come up in the story are left unanswered. Min's relationship with his mother, the accident, his true feelings and intentions towards Miss Jung, and why he did what he did at the end... it all made for a very frustrating ending.

Didn't like it.

This manhwa was way too cryptic for me to understand.
In conclusion, it wasn't enjoyable. The whole story was left for the reader to interpret.
The main guy char's expression didn't change once, and his past was a huge ( ? ).Now that i think about it, his present (like the story with his parents) and his future (the sudden and nonsensical end) were left as a huge ( ? ) as well. No hint of what his thoughts were either.
The other characters were not as confusing, but still not that much better. The constant time jumps were frustrating..
In short, the story setting was good, the story telling ruined it all. I do admit the art was beautiful tho, and i think everything, even this manhwa, is worth a try.

I was a tad upset when I finished it because I love the her artwork, but her stories are usually heartbreaking, and this one is no exception. Despite the ambiguous ending, maybe it's proper considering
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Ms. Jung doesn't want the ending of love, and Ryu Min can be very dangerous when he's jealous. I still think there's potential that they will finally be together in the future. He just has to grow up first, be more mature. I'm still thinking as to what was he expecting from reporting her
LOVED THE ENDING!!! SUITED THE TITLE PERFECTLY!!

This was a very good series!~ Although I'm pretty sure the ending would offend anyone who are senesitive on those topics but, I believe that ending was necessary. The title is SEDUCTION/FASCINATION is BETTER than (true) love, so if you're looking for a happy soul mates re-united thing, then this story isn't for you. If you, on the other hand, enjoy or don't mind psychological, twisted and ambiguous endings then this series is DEFINITELY for you! : D Side note: neither of the main characters love each other, they feel lust and desire to each other. Love isn't the only feeling that causes people to be attracted to one another, right?

The ending left me frustrated...
Geez!
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I hate how Jung just said that she would wait for him forever, even though he reported her to her school - and LEFT her without telling her if he loved her or not. Somehow that makes Jung look so weak. From my point of view, it looks like Ryu is just out for revenge on Jung's younger brother. It irritates me how we don't get a clear answer, and are left to wonder, in a bad way!
Geez!

Rather than this series being catagorized as shojo, I think josei is more appropriate. The shojo genre's target audience would probably have a tough time following and understanding the implications of the story.
Overall I was content with the story, but the ending, which left readers to piece together, or guess, the the reason(s) for why Min chose to do what he did, and future relations, was anti-climatic. It left a lot of questions unanswered.

My interest in this manhwa has been fluctuating- I attribute it to the author's detached and aloof storytelling. Yet, there is a subconscious need to keep on reading. This may be off-putting for some.
Another irk is that the story's deliberately(?)cryptic. The character's motives, actions... from Daoun's sudden love for Min to the sudden, unsatisfying end. Why does she love the kid? He clearly has no redeeming qualities. His character is the most frustrating; he is unreadable, unlikable, and I see no growth in his character. Blame it all on infatuation?
Despite my frustrations, their relationship is at times touching. But if the author leaves everything, including the ending, on the readers, imo it takes away from fully enjoying the story.

Overall very beautiful in it's whole.. Like the quote I put as the subject? I do. It was one of those tidbits left by one of the scanlators. I liked it. XD
The quote explains everything I feel about this manhwa. Beautiful, yet bittersweet. I loved the manhwaga's drawings, I can just stare for hours.

I like the staccato nature of this mangaka's work, because it isnt about a young violent girl. And I like this genre of teacher-student love but the ending was odd. As with many other mangas, it seems it was rushed ending with open ends-
Spoiler (highlight to view)
why did they break up?why did that kid report it and not try for a relationship? after tormenting the brother about her sister being with him, what purpose did the whole thing or trip serve anyway as the brother seemed hurt but thats all?
I do dislike subdued endings and if you want to be taken for a ride, this is it...You must login to comment for this series! Register an account.
