This plot was so filled with dark, rich plot that I had to finish it in one sitting. Each of the characters are very complex and you understand each of their struggles. The main character, though very stupid at the beginning and naive in the middle, she becomes a strong willed and ferocious character that kicks major a**. For a psychological romance manga, read it!

I'm surprised some people didn't like this manga!

Plot: really lured me in. There's been a couple manga's where they change their appearance for a guy but this time was definitely different. I loved the twists and turns and the events that occurred and how everything was thought up really well. It's definitely an addicting manga so if you have homework to do, don't start reading this yet

Characters: Loved all of them. I really liked the character development Geraldine went through and how much strength she was able to muster up after all those years. The way I also really liked Charles despite all he's done. I just couldn't get myself to hate him because you get to see the reason why he turns out the way he is and You definitely go through an emotional roller-coaster: Happy, sad, angry, ecstatic, worried, anticipation, power, love, sympathy, empathy and just so much more.

Romance: Smut-- but not pointless smut. It was definitely convenient and had a reason. Not TOO smutty as well so it had a good balance and yeah, definitely a romance manga haha!

Ending: Perfect. It was absolutely beautiful.

The first few chapters were awesome! Then I realized that the author planned to do the story on Gerry's past for a few volumes, and it was depressing to see Gerry turning into a fat, ugly woman (like in an instant). The author should have just cut short the whole scenario to a few chapters, not a few volumes.

Then, there was the transformation part, which took a few volumes until volume 7. The transformation part was not exactly nice to read(only in the beginning though), then Jake got all moody and weird about wanting his revenge and thinking Gerry does not love him at all(although it was so obvious), till it seemed like he didn't want Gerry's love. So he abandoned her in Switzerland.

Then there was the part where the revenge took place. Gerry's way of doing things was not brilliant, and Charles was annoying as usual. And this took up some volumes. Then the revenge was done, and G and J got married. The page on the marriage was just 1 page though, how disappointing.

This story was just too draggy, while some important moments were cut short. The author should have just cut everything short into a few volumes, like 3 volumes instead and pay less attention to Charles.

One of the best in the josei list i couldnt put this down for 4 hours. my hands are numb and my eyes are sore just to finish this
There were a lot of wonderful things. Put aside Geraldine`s childhood naivety, i think everything was wonderful. Almost everything is so realistic. every girl`s first love is usually like that, falling in love with a playboy or something. silver`s revenge was actually amazing. (shows you how far a woman would go to get revenge, whatever time period it is). The twist where was actually good. charles ambition was the cause of his evil personality but you just cant hate him. too much beautiful stuff in this mature manga but finally, when silver proves that she has an ounce of humanity and even shred of past love left for him. Smut was hot, and the fact that she becomes a woman that charms everyone actually gave me a good image for my own novel (which is almost creepily the same as the idea of this story though I`ve been writing my novel before I even came across this) so anyway, all the guys were bishies. I wish there was more of Salim.

I simply loves this manga! I started reading it late last night and I couldn't put it done even though my eyes felt so heavy. I ended up falling asleep halfway through and the first thing I did when I woke up was to pick iy up again and read to the end.

I loved how Geraldine was able to turned into Silver and yet deep within her, the true and gentle self still remains that she was willing to give up her revenge.

Overall, the arts are good, plot is intriguing and it is definitely one of my best read!

I didn't really expect to enjoy this but once I started I couldn't stop reading it. Silver is an outrageous seductress and despite all the trails in her life she manages to get her revenge on Charles. While Jake whom she loves is also striving on his side for revenge of a different kind. If you like mild smut with a good revenge plot, I highly recommend this.

Agreed with slykid, I've never felt so horrible reading a josei manga. It was like watching a train wreck, you don't want to look but you can't turn away. Her getting a new face and her obsession with revenge was creepy.

First such a horrible feeling this manga has when reading , then out of no where BAAM ! It ends ...its so CRAP don't bother wat a waste of my time its just so unrealistic I cant believe it ..

Well... I don't think the girl is so bad. It's true, when she was young she was still innocent and blind because of her upbringing. But after she got betrayed I noticed how she became much sharper and able to recognize situations for what they are (=she grew up).

Though I dislike those kind of story-lines in general, I find myself willing to read it to the end.

What I find really genius about this work is that even the villain has a motif we can (all) feel with. He grew up with the hate of his mother and transfered that hate to a scapegoat.

Wow, how this manga makes you feel and makes you sympathize with the main character. She needs so long until she realizes what an asshole Charles is. Every chapter you hope for her to open her eyes (and you may want to hit her or something for being so blind, blinded by love). The drama is just great. The author plays with your hopes and fears, really twisted. And when she finally realizes everything and goes out to get her revenge, it just feels so good watching her

Only bad points are some cheesy scenes. And recently I get the feeling that the story goes into the background for the smut. Seriously, there was a whole chapter with almost no story and almost only smutty scenes. Furthermore, the heroine begins to annoy me again with her talk:
